Hi Ameia , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Growing up I was told I was too skinny, I was called ugly because of my complexion through out the year I gained my weight back I start learning about the love of God which caused me to gain self love, I started to pour into myself I had to learn to love every part of me because if I didn’t no one else will, it was God who helped me develop confidence and self esteem.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a survivor of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault, neglect and abuse at a young age I turn my pain into passion now I am a published Author my book “ The Chosen One” is an autobiography about my upbringing and the challenges I faced going up I won’t my book to advocate for those without a voice who need to be heard manly for Victims and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence violence, I open my first restaurant in 2020 Roots sea and soul food I closed my restaurant in 2023 and ventured off to personal chef, catering and food truck My food is my passion, it’s a form of art to me that bring peace to my life, I put all of my love in my food God blessed my hands to prepare meals for a multitude, I have stated an online store called agape love clothing wheee I sell shirt with my slogans and bibles verses to bring inspiration to all around the world, which the online store is temporary shut down due to out of stock item, and I currently work for Gallagher affinity as a licensed insurance producer I also obtain my foster care license this year, my purpose for me doing all that I do is to give the love that I never got to someone, to inspire and spread Gods love,

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Solitude, Patience,delayed gratification & Wisdom, My advice God takes us through Seasons where we are forced to be alone it’s not to punish us , sometimes having many people around you can crowd your mind where you can’t hear God clearly so he puts us in places alone to get you right, patience, and delayed gratification things won’t always be on our timing so being patient with yourself and God as things play out in Gods will even when we think it our turn clap for others until it’s your turn, Wisdom Learn. As much as you can never be the one who knows it all be teachable and always keep your character right so you stay stay wheee god has and and is taking you.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

God and my church family and my pastors books Power moves by Shara Jake’s Robert’s, Women Evolve alone with Pastor Toure Robert book Balance just hearing people stories and seeing the success behind the upbringing we was giving is power and inspiring.
