Meet Jarrah Jerdo

We were lucky to catch up with Jarrah Jerdo recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jarrah, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?

Self care is probably my biggest hobby right now (other than adventuring with my fur child, Bruce!) I think I spent so many years running from my mental health, or masked it with partying, that eventually I switched gears! Don’t get me wrong I still love a night out, but my nights in is where the progress happens! My ideal self-care night consists of a 30-60 min workout, a long hot shower, a precise skin care routine, and cozy pajamas! Followed by journaling, a good show before bed (I never watch tv any other time) and praying! Bonus points for incense or a candle lit during some of the steps! It’s been extremely effective in helping me over all as a human being, and definitely helps with time-management and goal setting!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My name is Jarrah Jerdo. My background is in art, and my heart is in entertainment! Mix those together along with traveling/exploring and you have; my “5 year plan”. I’m a model with a passion for acting and a talent for creating. I’m enrolled in acting classes, auditioning for commercials, and prepping for swim shows while also keeping up with my social media content, and the other 18 accounts I run, My actual job is bartending which I love! As I said I don’t go out as much these days so I find my job both financially beneficial and keeps me socially satisfied as I love talking to people! I’m currently heading to Atlanta for ATL Swim Week as I’m filling this out 🙂

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Persistency will always be number one. Finding exactly what you want out of life and figuring out a plan to get to that point. And also being grateful for what you already have. Believe in yourself, you’ll get a million no’s until you get a YES, and always stay a little bit delusional. Follow these steps for anything you want in life 🙂

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m always looking for more agents in tv/film. I have great agencies that help me more with modeling, and acting on the East Coast, but my dream is to move West for a period of time, and looking for representation out there! Outside of that I’m ALWAYS looking to collaborate with like-minded people! I love content days! I love meeting/working with new brands, too! Reach out to me directly through IG @jarrahanne2.0
