Shanny , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from my faith. Trusting in the lord while pursuing is what keeps me grounded and focused. I also have a good support system that pours into me and encourages me on a daily basis, my mom and dad. Last but not least my children. They give me the strength I need to continue even when I feel at my lowest sometimes. Seeing their faces makes me wanna keep going and not give up.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am the ceo and founder of S.Slay Agency Talent Management & Creative Service. Our services and resources are geared towards helping independent talent rather in film, music or fashion with resources to help create, build or expand their brand or career. What makes this special is that there a many talented individuals that if giving the opportunity to have the light shined on them who knows what can happen. Many independent talent are limited due budget, limited resources and connections. Partnering with us, it will open doors to network with professionals first hand while helping you gain more experience. We’re always looking to connect with other professionals who may resources and have the same sentiments and interests to help support others.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Believing in yourself is number one. You have to see it even if no one else does. Consistency would be the next thing. You won’t see any progress if you don’t put in the work. Lastly, you have to trust the process and understand nothing happens over night. You have to quiet your thoughts and understand that everything happens in due time. You have trust that even when it looks like nothing is happening, everything is happening. My faith again, is what reminds me everyday to take one day at a time and enjoy the moment because it’s the process that makes it all worth while.

I looking for anyone in the entertainment industry with experience that is willing to help out those who may need a up by creating opportunities to succeed. I’m looking for investors and sponsorship opportunities for events independent projects. I’m looking for professionals who are passionate about what they want and interested in resources to help them reach their goals.
