Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tania Cobb. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tania, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
For me, self-care starts with the basics—fresh air, regular exercise, and daily self-reflection. These simple yet powerful practices help me stay grounded. Taking time each day to step outside, move my body, and quietly check in with myself clears my mind and allows me to stay in tune with how I’m feeling, both mentally and physically.
Prioritizing self-care has had a transformative impact on my effectiveness. When I feel my best on the inside, I show up stronger on the outside. It gives me the clarity and energy to navigate challenges both personally and professionally with resilience and to be fully present for those around me. I’ve learned that when I take care of myself, I’m in the best position to help others do the same—and that’s what truly drives me.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
For the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Registered Nurse—supporting patients through some of life’s most vulnerable, joyful, and challenging moments. I began my career on an acute psychiatric unit, where I gained deep insight into the complexities of mental health. After 3 ½ years, I transitioned into Labor and Delivery and have spent the last 7 years on a high-risk Women’s and Infants unit, caring for women and families through Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and as a Lactation Consultant.
Working with families in moments of both immense joy and heartbreaking loss has been one of the greatest honors of my life. These experiences taught me how deeply interconnected our emotional, physical, and spiritual health truly are.
Throughout my nursing career, I’ve also witnessed firsthand the limitations of the traditional healthcare system. I saw how Western medicine, while powerful, often falls short in supporting the whole person. That understanding became even more personal as I watched my beloved father bravely battle Glioblastoma. His journey opened my heart and mind to the reality that healing must go beyond what’s offered in a hospital room. People deserve more options—more compassionate, holistic care that honors the mind, body, and soul.
That belief led me to Arrive Health and Wellness, where I now offer services that reflect a more integrative approach to self-care and healing. I provide personalized wellness support including:
-Weight Loss Programs tailored to individual goals and lifestyles
-Vitamin Injections to support immunity, energy, and mood
-IV Therapy for hydration, detoxification, and nutrient replenishment
-Peptide Therapy to promote cellular repair, longevity, and anti-aging
-NAD+ Therapy to enhance cognitive function, energy levels, and overall vitality
At Arrive, I’ve been able to deepen my knowledge of integrative medicine and witness the profound changes these therapies can bring to people’s lives. Helping clients feel more energized, more aligned, and more empowered in their own health has been both inspiring and deeply fulfilling.
This work is not just my profession—it’s my calling. I’m here to walk alongside each person on their wellness journey, offering compassionate care that nurtures the whole self. Because healing should be about more than surviving—it should be about arriving into a life of strength, clarity, and wholeness.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As a health and wellness nurse, my journey has been shaped by many lessons—but the qualities that have carried me the furthest are commitment, resilience and adaptability, and empathy. These aren’t just skills I’ve leaned on; they’ve become the foundation of how I serve others and how I continue to grow both personally and professionally.
Commitment means staying grounded in your why. In a field that is constantly evolving, where people put their trust in your hands, you must be unwavering in your dedication. Whether it’s trying to balance professional and personal life and busy schedules, continuing education, or navigating the unknowns of entrepreneurship, your commitment will keep you showing up—fully, consistently, and with purpose.
Resilience and adaptability go hand in hand. This work—especially when stepping into business ownership—requires a deep well of strength. You will face challenges, setbacks, and moments of self-doubt. But every obstacle is also a teacher. The ability to adapt, to pivot when things don’t go as planned, and to keep moving forward with courage is what transforms struggle into growth.
And perhaps most importantly, empathy is what breathes life into everything we do. To truly connect with clients, to support them in healing, and to build something meaningful, you have to lead with your heart. Empathy allows you to understand not just what someone is going through—but how to meet them with compassion, patience, and care.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The Foundation of My Journey: A Tribute to My Parents
So much of who I am—both personally and professionally—was shaped by the quiet strength, unwavering love, and deep wisdom of my parents. They didn’t just raise me; they guided me with values that have become the foundation of my life and the heart of my work.
From an early age, my parents instilled in me the power of hard work. They taught me that no dream is too big and no goal too distant—as long as you’re willing to show up, every day, and put in the effort. They believed in the beauty of discipline and the reward that comes from persistence, even when the road is long or uncertain.
They also taught me one of life’s greatest truths: success doesn’t come easy, and it doesn’t come without responsibility. They helped me understand that I am the author of my own story—that while life may present challenges, I am always responsible for how I rise to meet them.
But perhaps the greatest lessons they passed down were rooted in kindness, empathy, and integrity. My parents lived by the belief that every person deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, no matter their background or circumstance. To them, true wealth wasn’t measured in dollars or possessions—it was found in love, family, and health.
Their values continue to guide me in every aspect of my life—from the way I care for my clients to the way I care for myself and the people I love. I carry their legacy in my work, in my relationships, and in the quiet moments where I remind myself what really matters.
Because of them, I know what it means to live with purpose. Because of them, I believe in the power of love over status, health over wealth, and compassion over comparison. And for that, I will be forever grateful.
