Meet STW ST4TIIC

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful STW ST4TIIC. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with STW below.

STW, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic is a reflection of both where I come from and where I’m headed. It was shaped early on by the examples set by my father and grandmother — two incredibly driven, disciplined people who taught me the value of consistency, perseverance, and putting your whole heart into whatever you do. Their influence created a foundation that I now apply to my creative process every day.

But my drive also comes from within — from watching myself grow as an artist. When I first stepped into the art world, I didn’t have all the answers. I was exploring — weaving, designing fashion, modeling, experimenting with mixed media like resin and textiles — constantly evolving and trying to find what really spoke to me. ST4TIIC⚡️ didn’t come to life all at once. It was the result of countless hours of experimentation, self-reflection, and the willingness to pivot and refine.

Now that I’ve shifted the brand toward curated playlists and custom digital cover art — turning those into physical posters that reflect the emotion behind the music — I can look back and see how every concept I went through was necessary. Each phase built the vision stronger and clearer. My work ethic today is driven by the passion to bring ST4TIIC⚡️ to life — not just as a brand, but as a lifestyle rooted in music, art, self-expression, and emotional honesty.

It’s not just about finishing projects — it’s about building a world. That’s what motivates me to keep pushing forward.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Right now, I’m fully focused on building ST4TIIC⚡️, a brand that blends music, visual design, and storytelling into a cohesive lifestyle experience. At its core, ST4TIIC⚡️ is about self-expression and emotional connection. I create themed playlists that explore everything from joy and rage to heartbreak and reflection — each one is a curated journey. But what makes the process even more special is that I also design original digital cover art for each playlist, which is then transformed into high-quality poster prints. These posters aren’t just decorative — they’re emotional artifacts. Visual reminders of what it feels like to live, love, grow, and reflect.

What excites me most is how this direction allows me to give shape to emotion — to create visual worlds around the feelings people carry every day but don’t always know how to express. It’s about building something honest and personal, yet universal. Whether someone finds ST4TIIC⚡️ through a song, a piece of artwork, or even a shared feeling — I want them to feel seen and understood.

Right now, I’m in the early stages of launching the first wave of playlist posters, with plans to drop a limited-run collection this summer. Each release will be tied to a specific playlist and theme, and every visual will be hand-designed to reflect the emotional core of that collection. There will also be community activations — like live listening sessions, visual moodboard breakdowns, and pop-up displays that bring these digital stories into real-world spaces.

ST4TIIC⚡️ isn’t just a brand — it’s a world I’m building from the ground up. A space for music junkies, empaths, visual thinkers, anyone . A space where art lives in motion and emotion. And I’m just getting started.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful elements in my creative journey have been digital design skills, trend and market research, and an understanding of social media and brand building — all of which I developed while studying Textile and Surface Design at Kennesaw State University.

Digital Design:
Learning how to bring visual ideas to life digitally completely changed how I approach storytelling through art. Whether I’m designing digital cover art for my playlists or preparing posters for ST4TIIC⚡️, having a strong foundation in programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop has helped me maintain a consistent, high-quality visual language. For anyone starting out, I recommend mastering the tools that allow you to communicate your ideas clearly. Start with the basics, and let your style evolve as your confidence grows.

Trend and Market Research:
At KSU, I learned how to study not just what’s visually “in,” but why certain aesthetics resonate with people. Understanding cultural movements, fashion cycles, and consumer behavior has been vital for shaping the emotional tone of my brand. For ST4TIIC⚡️, this means translating the feelings behind my playlists into designs that are both personal and culturally relevant. I encourage emerging artists to stay curious — read, watch, and listen widely. The more you observe, the sharper your creative instincts become.

Social Media and Brand Building:
Building ST4TIIC⚡️ taught me that creativity alone isn’t enough — you need strategy and consistency. Studying how other brands used social platforms to create communities helped me realize that success comes from engagement, not just aesthetics. Your brand should feel like a conversation, not a billboard. My advice? Know your “why,” create with intention, and use your platform to invite people into your world, not just your product.

All of these skills combined gave me the confidence to shift my brand’s focus to curated playlists and their visual counterparts — allowing music and emotion to guide the design process. For anyone at the start of their journey: take your time, explore your voice, and don’t be afraid of change and evolution. Growth is the best part!

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?

I truly believe it’s better to strive for balance — to go all in on your strengths, but also make time to strengthen the areas you’re not as naturally confident in. For me, being well-rounded has been the key to becoming the most complete version of myself — not just as an artist, but as a creative thinker and problem solver.

Before diving fully into the art world, I had a strong foundation in engineering and computing. That part of me is very analytical, logical, and systems-oriented. It taught me structure, process, and how to think critically about how things work — not just technically, but conceptually. But when I shifted my path toward art, especially through studying Textile and Surface Design at Kennesaw State University, I had to strengthen a completely different set of muscles: emotional intelligence, color theory, storytelling, visual harmony. At first, it was unfamiliar, even uncomfortable. But over time, I realized something powerful — by developing both sides of myself, I wasn’t abandoning one identity for another; I was becoming the ultimate version of me.

Now with ST4TIIC⚡️, that fusion is everything. My engineering mindset helps me build structure around my creative process — from how I design and organize my playlist visuals, to how I research trends, to how I analyze audience engagement across platforms. And my artistic growth gives soul and depth to that structure. One side feeds logic; the other feeds feeling. Together, they give my work meaning and momentum.

My advice: strengthen your core, but don’t neglect your edges. Being well-rounded doesn’t mean being average at everything — it means building the kind of range that allows you to adapt, evolve, and create from a place of wholeness. That’s where the magic really happens.
