Meet Shayna Fischoff

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shayna Fischoff a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Shayna, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity comes from a place of humility and empathy. I was raised to believe that no matter who you are or where you come from, everyone deserves kindness, dignity, and respect.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I run a professional cleaning business with a personal touch. My goal is for clients to feel completely at ease never judged when I enter their home. I want to create a space that feels lighter, calmer, and more comfortable.

My brand is professional but also warm, approachable, and local. Through social media, I share not just my work but the real, human side of what I do. It’s more than just cleaning it’s about care, connection, and helping people feel good in their space.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the biggest things that helped me were learning to believe in myself, being open to feedback, and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. I had imposter syndrome at first, but once I stopped doubting myself and leaned into the hard parts, things started to change.

My advice? Trust that you’re capable, take feedback as a way to grow, and don’t be afraid to feel uncomfortable that’s when the good stuff happens.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

One book that really influenced me is The PMA Effect by John Joseph from the Cro-Mags it’s actually where my business name came from! Along with Bad Brains’ song “Attitude,” it taught me how powerful a positive mindset can be in overcoming challenges and staying resilient.
