We recently connected with Carrie Bradley and have shared our conversation below.
Carrie , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self-esteem began to take root when I finally carved out time to care for myself. For over a decade, I was a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, shaped by cultural and religious beliefs that taught me to always put others first—that prioritizing myself was selfish. I rarely tended to my own needs. But something shifted when I began choosing self-love in small but meaningful ways: through movement, music, and meditation. As I reconnected with myself, a quiet confidence began to bloom, and long-dormant desires started to surface.
Exploring those desires helped me see that I was living in an environment – particularly within my marriage – that didn’t support my growth. That realization led to a separation and divorce that came with enormous loss: I lost my partner, many of my friendships, my extended family, and my sense of financial security. At the time, I had just launched my business, after years of supporting my ex’s business and raising our children. I didn’t know where my next paycheck would come from, but I held onto a seed of belief that I could build the life I truly desired.
What I discovered along the way was that mindset was everything. I had to confront deeply ingrained scarcity beliefs and rewrite the story that there wasn’t enough money, love, opportunity, or time. With the support of a coach, I began to shift that inner narrative. And with that shift, my confidence soared.
In less than four years, I reached my first six-figure year in business, successfully advocated for myself in court, won key assets, paid off two properties just months apart, and reached financial independence on my 42nd birthday. Developing confidence didn’t come from one big moment; it was the result of choosing myself over and over again, even when it felt hard. Ultimately, it came down to mindset, self-trust, and a willingness to believe in something bigger for myself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a mindset and visibility coach, speaker, and entrepreneur focused on helping women reclaim their power, rewrite limiting narratives, and create lives aligned with their deepest desires, both personally and professionally. My work is rooted in the belief that true freedom – emotional, financial, and relational – comes when we learn to trust ourselves, expand our capacity to receive, and live in alignment with who we truly are.
After over a decade as a stay-at-home mom, I rebuilt my life from the ground up following a divorce that shook the foundation of everything I knew: my identity, my relationships, and my financial security. I launched my business in the midst of uncertainty, armed only with a vision and a deep desire to model what was possible. In just a few years, I not only hit my first six-figure year and reached financial independence, but more importantly, I stepped into my voice, my leadership, and my purpose.
Today, I work with women who are ready to break free from the expectations that keep them small and invisible. Whether they’re navigating transitions, launching businesses, or simply craving a more meaningful life, I help them expand into their full expression and magnetize opportunities aligned with their truth.
What feels most exciting to me right now is the way my work is evolving to include immersive experiences. I’m currently hosting retreats that blend mindset, somatics, and conscious wealth, helping women heal their relationship with money, power, and pleasure. I published my first book in December titled “Dare to Desire: A Woman’s Journey from Fear to Freedom” (on Amazon) and I’m also writing my second book called Dare to Be Free, which explores the illusion of freedom society sells us and offers a roadmap to a more authentic, liberating way of living.
At the core of everything I do is the belief that women don’t need to be more perfect, more palatable, or more productive – they need to be more themselves. My work is about helping them remember that.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three most impactful elements in my journey have been:
1. Emotional Resilience
Rebuilding my life after divorce, financial uncertainty, and the loss of my support system demanded a deep level of inner strength. But resilience isn’t just pushing through challenges – it’s allowing yourself to feel everything, process what’s true, and keep choosing to move forward anyway. For anyone early in their journey, I’d say: don’t rush the hard moments. Learn how to be with your emotions, not bypass them. That’s where your power starts to build.
2. Mindset Mastery
Shifting my inner narrative around scarcity, self-worth, and success changed everything. I had to unlearn a lifetime of beliefs around not-enoughness and redefine what it meant to be powerful, wealthy, and free. Mindset work isn’t something you do once, but a daily practice to create a new empowering narrative. For those starting out, invest in your inner world as much as your outer one. Hire the coach, read the books, have the hard conversations. What you believe sets the ceiling for what’s possible.
3. Authentic Visibility
Finding my voice and allowing myself to be truly seen was one of the most transformative parts of my journey. I used to believe I had to be perfect to show up publicly. Now I know that the more honest and human I am, the more magnetic I become. If you’re early in your journey, practice being visible as you are. Share your story before it’s fully polished. That realness is what creates connection and opens doors.
At the core, this journey has taught me that your story, your truth, and your perspective are your greatest assets. The more you honor them, the more everything else aligns.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
Over the past 12 months, my biggest area of growth has been both in mindset and in visibility, and the two have beautifully fed each other. I was genuinely blown away to realize that my business grew by 80% this year, especially because for so long I felt like I was behind or not doing enough. Working through those scarcity beliefs around business and success has been a pivotal part of my journey. It reminded me that growth isn’t always visible day-to-day, and sometimes the biggest leaps happen beneath the surface.
At the same time, my visibility has expanded in meaningful ways. I’ve been honored to give talks across the country in various finance and women’s empowerment circles, sharing my story and insights with new audiences. I’m also about to launch a local intensive called Vision to Voice, designed to help others discover their unique message and vulnerably share their stories – so they can lean into their own growth edges and step more fully into their potential.
Alongside these external milestones, I’ve grown significantly in leadership and mentorship, stepping more confidently into roles where I guide and empower others, especially women navigating transitions and seeking deeper freedom. I’ve also embraced imperfection and authenticity more fully, learning that showing up as my true self, even in vulnerability, deepens connection and expands my impact.
My creative expression has flourished as well, from writing my upcoming book to designing immersive retreats that blend mindset, somatics, and conscious wealth. And importantly, I’ve sharpened my ability to set healthy boundaries and prioritize self-care, which sustains my energy and presence in all areas of life.
All of this growth is deeply intertwined with an expanding sense of worth, value, confidence, and self-respect, and I’m grateful to see how it bleeds beautifully into both my personal and professional life. This past year has been a powerful reminder that internal work lays the foundation for lasting success and fulfillment.
