Meet Drea Sade’

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Drea Sade’ a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Drea, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic comes straight from my mother. I watched that woman work multiple jobs for as long as I can remember. She was never one to sit around waiting for anything to happen — she made things happen. Even though my dad was in the picture, it was my mom who was the constant, the driving force I saw every single day. She didn’t just provide for me and my brother; she also stepped in for other people’s children, making sure everyone had what they needed. Watching her juggle so much with so much heart — that shaped how I move through life. Hustling with purpose runs in my blood because of her.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My name is Drea Sade’, and I’m the CEO of Moonlight Oracle LLC — a spiritual wellness brand rooted in Hoodoo, healing, and energetic alignment. As a third-generation Hoodoo practitioner, my work is both ancestral and intentional. I offer handcrafted spiritual products, intuitive tarot readings, and powerful rituals that support transformation, manifestation, and self-mastery.

What makes Moonlight Oracle truly special is that everything I offer is spiritually led. Whether it’s a candle, an oil, or a ritual, I pour my energy, experience, and lineage into it. I don’t just sell products — I help people change their lives. Each item is made to help clients clear their paths, call in blessings, and protect what matters most.

Some of our most loved products include Onyx Nights, a protection and grounding blend; For the Love of Luna, which is perfect for self-love and feminine energy work; and Haley’s Comet, a high-vibration manifestation oil crafted to fast-track your desires. I also recently released Endymion’s Crystal Body Shimmer Oil, inspired by my powerful Crown of Success ritual — a luxurious body oil infused with gold, rose petals, and spiritual intention.

I’m currently in the process of writing a Moonlight Oracle spell book, which will be available soon on my website. It’s packed with original rituals, journal prompts, and ancestral knowledge — a spiritual tool for anyone looking to elevate their practice. The spell book will reflect my personal journey and the teachings passed down through generations.

Right now, I’m also preparing to open a brick-and-mortar spiritual store, a longtime vision that will give my clients a physical space to shop, learn, and grow. In addition, I’m building online courses for people who want to deepen their spiritual knowledge — whether it’s tarot, manifestation techniques, or starting their own spiritual brand.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful things that shaped my journey have been: resilience, spiritual knowledge, and authenticity.

Resilience is number one. Entrepreneurship — especially spiritual entrepreneurship — isn’t always smooth. There were moments when I felt unsupported, misunderstood, or unsure of what would come next. But I kept showing up. I kept creating, kept trusting the vision, and kept going even when I had to rebuild from scratch. My advice for anyone starting out? Get comfortable with growth being uncomfortable. You don’t have to be perfect — you just have to be consistent and willing to learn.

Second, spiritual knowledge. As a Hoodoo practitioner, my journey isn’t just about business — it’s about ancestral wisdom, spiritual laws, and understanding how energy works. That knowledge didn’t come overnight. It took study, lived experience, mentorship, and divine guidance. For anyone looking to walk a similar path, I recommend learning from your elders, respecting your lineage, and never rushing the process. Spiritual maturity takes time — honor it.

Lastly, authenticity. People connect with real. They can feel when you’re being true to yourself and your path. I didn’t water myself down to fit a trend or what people expected from a spiritual brand. I stayed rooted in who I am — a Black woman, a Hoodoo practitioner, a mother, a creative, and a healer. The more I embraced that, the more my brand aligned with the people who truly needed it. So my advice? Be bold in your truth. That’s what sets you apart.

Your journey won’t look like anyone else’s — and that’s the beauty of it. Trust yourself. Be a student of life. And never underestimate how far authenticity, knowledge, and resilience can take you.
