We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Anton Marchuk. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Anton below.
Hi Anton, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
When I decided to quit my well-paid job, turn down three great job offers, and start a new business venture in the U.S.—risking my entire career and life savings while living abroad and entering a completely new industry—I had a conversation with a friend of mine (hi, Wolfgang!), whom I consider a great example of an entrepreneur. I told him, “If I fail in business, I can always return to employment.” And he replied, “No, entrepreneurship doesn’t work like that. If you fail, you just get up and try again.”
Now that my team and I have built a business in one of the most competitive US e-commerce sectors—and made it profitable in just six months (when it usually takes over a year)—I can feel exactly what Wolfgang meant: resilience.
Resilience is a muscle—you can’t just have it. You have to train it, build it—through pain, pressure, and small wins. Some people develop it early through life circumstances; others start later. It doesn’t matter when. What matters is the ability to endure, to risk, to face challenges, uncertainty, and setbacks—and grow stronger with each one.
The good news? It’s all part of the adventure. There will always be something. And the more resilient you become, the more “something” you can handle—and the more you can achieve. And when you finally feel it in your bones—it feels amazing.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m the co-founder of Sana Herbal Sciences, a U.S.-based polyherbal supplement formulas brand with a simple mission: to bring intelligent, modern botanical formulations to people who want natural solutions that work—without synthetic junk.
I wasn’t born into the supplement industry—I spent 15 years building a career as a B2B commercial architect in the mining sector. Shifting into herbal health was a complete pivot. I had to learn everything from the ground up—formulations, regulations, marketing, logistics, Amazon, Walmart… every single piece.
What makes Sana Herbal Sciences special? Nobody does what we do—and likely never will—because behind every formula we release is the unmatched 40-year clinical expertise of Dr. Marco Sikaffy, our naturopathic doctor, and the lived results of thousands of his patients. Instead of one-dimensional “trendy” capsules, we create complex polyherbal formulations, precisely balanced to work in synergy—supporting entire systems like digestion, arteries, sleep, inflammation, detox, muscles, and more. No shortcuts. No fillers. No fluff.
Some of our signature formulas include:
• Sana Colon Tonic – a 7-herb blend for complete colon health and healthy elimination
• Sana Nerve Aid – crafted for emotional resilience, mental health, and deep, restful sleep
• Sana Infla Care – a 6-herb powerhouse for systemic inflammation support
• Sana Cardio Care – our bestseller for blood circulation, arterial health, and cholesterol balance
• Sana Thyroid Care – a unique blend of organic seaweed to support thyroid hormonal balance with natural iodine
• Sana MuscleRoot – a post-workout inflammation-balancing formula based on Infla Care
• Sana Hepatic Care – for all-natural liver detox and support of the body’s primary filter
• Sana SuperImmune – an herbal powerhouse for immune support and early cold symptoms
What’s exciting right now? We’re expanding our product line and building a closed-loop herbal farm, using AI-powered systems to grow medicinal plants in fully controlled environments. Our goal is to do what hasn’t been done before—grow herbs in the U.S. that have never been grown here before, with maximum potency, purity, and traceability.
More than just a supplement brand, Sana Herbal Sciences is about the choice we make—to reclaim our health, to trust nature and our body and to build a future where wellness is intelligent and natural.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. The ability to learn fast
Don’t wait until you feel ready. Start messy. Learn on the move. Search, ask, test, repeat. The speed at which you can learn and adapt is a superpower in any entrepreneurial journey.
2. Learning to combat fear
Get used to doing things while you’re afraid. Confidence comes after the leap, not before. The discomfort is part of the process—don’t wait for it to disappear.
3. The habit of reflection
I’ve made dozens of mistakes—some of them expensive. But I always say: it wasn’t a mistake, it was a paid experience. The key is to constantly ask yourself: What worked? What didn’t? Why? And what does that teach me? Reflection helps you pivot faster, stay grounded, and avoid repeating the same mistake twice.
In short: if you’re just starting out—learn fast, act through fear, and pause to reflect. That cycle builds momentum and resilience faster than anything else.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Are we looking to collaborate? Absolutely—if you’re the right kind of creative.
Business is an art. And in today’s hyper-competitive e-commerce space, you have to be Picasso. That means reimagining everyday things with a fresh, bold perspective—and just as importantly, communicating them clearly, creatively, and authentically to the customer.
We get dozens of emails from content creators every week, but very few produce work that we’d genuinely call art. If your idea of creativity goes beyond just applying a drop shadow in Canva, we’re probably looking for you.
We’re on the hunt for truly creative minds to help us craft:
• Engaging social media posts and Reels
• Emotionally powerful Amazon and Walmart product listing images
• Visual content that actually converts—and makes people feel something
