Meet Summer Britt

We recently connected with Summer Britt and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Summer, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose through the beautiful chaos of motherhood. After having my kids, I realized how much moms need support, connection, and a space to feel strong physically, mentally, and emotionally. I started leading FIT4MOM classes not just to stay active, but to build a village where moms lift each other up. It’s through showing up for other women, creating space for community, and watching both moms and their kids thrive that I really discovered what lights me up.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

At FIT4MOM, I get to do something incredibly special. I help moms find strength in motherhood, both physically and emotionally. I lead fitness classes designed for every stage of motherhood, from pregnancy to toddlerhood and beyond, all while creating space for moms to connect, breathe, and get a workout in that includes the kids.

What’s most exciting about it is that it’s so much more than a workout. It’s a community. It’s the moment when a mom who hasn’t slept in days shows up and realizes she’s not alone. It’s watching friendships form between moms and between kids. It’s the laughter during a stroller workout, the conversations after class, and the joy of seeing someone remember their worth. FIT4MOM is a village and we believe that when moms are supported, families and entire communities thrive.

Our workouts are currently Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am in the Buda Sunfield Community. We are so excited to announce that we will be launching Run Club soon! Run Club is an 8-week guided training program for 5K, 10K, or half marathon distance runs.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been:

Adaptability – Motherhood, entrepreneurship, and community leadership all come with curveballs. Being flexible and learning to pivot without losing momentum has been huge. Whether it’s a rainy day workout or a last-minute change in childcare, the ability to adapt with grace, and a sense of humor, has kept me going.
My advice: Practice embracing change instead of fearing it. Start small, let go of the need for things to be perfect, and learn to move forward even when conditions aren’t ideal.

Empathy – Connecting with other moms, truly seeing them and holding space for their experiences, has been at the heart of FIT4MOM. Understanding that everyone’s carrying something helps create a safe, welcoming community.
My advice: Really listen, not just to respond, but to understand. The more you practice compassion in your daily life, the more trust and connection you’ll build with others.

Consistency – Showing up matters. Even when you’re tired, discouraged, or unsure, being consistent builds trust, credibility, and confidence in yourself and others.
My advice: Don’t wait for motivation; build routines that support your values and purpose. Keep promises to yourself and your community, that steady presence makes all the difference.

If you’re just starting your journey, trust that you don’t need to have it all figured out. You grow by showing up, asking for help, and being willing to learn. Your purpose will reveal itself as you walk it out. Just keep going.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I’m always looking to collaborate with folks who are passionate about supporting moms, families, wellness, and community connection. Whether you’re a local business owner, wellness professional, family-focused brand, or another mom with a big heart and big ideas, I’d love to connect.

At FIT4MOM Hays County, we love partnering for pop-up events, workshops, giveaways, community classes, and anything that helps enrich the lives of the mamas we serve. If you’re someone who believes in empowering women, building up families, or just wants to bring something joyful and meaningful to our community, let’s chat!
