Meet Amber Gaige

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amber Gaige a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Amber, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

Overcoming imposter syndrome is no small feat. It is a process and a commitment to a journey of self awareness. Growing up in a family business and working in a male dominated field – I often grappled with this all so common feeling. The key to over coming it was fine tuning my skills and commiting to be a lifelong learner and cultivating my own unique professional approach/voice. By staying ever the student, focusing on my clients needs and finding solutions that work – I am able to provide real value to my clients and team members.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

As a third generation entrepreneur, and a marketing stategist – I focus on blending outside of the box markting solutions and data driven results for my clients. My team and I use AI, real time learning algorythms, flexible contracts and transparent tracking so that we be be sure we are supporting our clients business goals. and driving tangible results.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three skills I think are incredibly important to hone are emotional intelligence. Learn to understand what people are saying not based on their words, but on their tone and body language. Secondly, always stay humble and seek to understand more than to be undrestood. FInally, be a life long learner – committed to improving your skiills. True business leaders I admire emody these attributes.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbinson taught me to stop trying to be responsible for the emotions and actions of other people. The Bible is my compass for life and Profits First by Mike Mikalowitz transformed my business.
