Meet MICHAEL DECOLE

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to MICHAEL DECOLE. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi MICHAEL, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from not having any other options
It’s either this or nothing, the saying goes no one’s coming to save you so you have to be your own hero in your own book.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I go by Mike De’Cole Artist singer, songwriter
And MICHAEL DECOLE is my brand in fashion apparel and more

I’ve been doing music for over 15 yrs I’ve had some success here in the states as well as Canada and the UK which reached their Charts, I’ve written songs for some artists as well as for myself but it started for me when I wrote my song lost Without You that gained me attention and notoriety, it was picked up by Verizon mobile and got me some attention which started my journey for opening up for many well known artists from Ginuwin and Tank to Avant and Musiq Soulchild and many others but after covid everything stopped completely and with the changes of the industry and music and streaming I took a hiatus to refocus and reinvent myself and the best way to reinvent is let life Life and roll with it, I’ve put out singles here and there to test the vibration of what and if people are still feeling music and they are if it’s good music so I’m back to making music as well expanding my brand and I pray this time will be the right time

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

First and foremost have a plan written out and be strategic, every move should be leading to the next move

Second you can’t do it alone but make sure the people that want to see you win and help you has the same end goal never assume because communication will make or break any relationship business or personal

And Three you must love it in order to push through when it’s not working, it’s ok to take a break but never quit at some point it may stop being fun but if you’ve ever loved it it will come back after the break

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

Ok this will sound very cliche but it’s my honest truth
Before COVID I knew of God but during and after COVID until now I can say I know God like a real relationship with him and everything I’ve been through from then to now the failures, losses, pain, stagnant and stuck all of that I thought I couldn’t get through it, as the saying goes God won’t bring you to anything he won’t bring you through so my answer is God
