Meet Lo Hendrix

We were lucky to catch up with Lo Hendrix recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lo, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

My creativity tends to come in waves, so staying in tune with my mental health is really important. Being a creative often means feeling things a bit more deeply, which can be both a gift and a challenge. I’ve found that regular travel, sunlight, and surrounding myself with people who energize me are essential. I’m constantly inspired by the world around me — textures, unexpected light, colors I don’t see every day, art installations, and even the way someone puts together an outfit. When I stay open and curious, keeping creativity alive actually feels effortless

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My career is truly the most meaningful part of my life — it gives me so much purpose and fulfillment. I’m endlessly inspired by love, romance, joyful tears, and all the beautifully intentional details that weddings bring. There’s something sacred about the way two people choose each other, and I’m drawn to the depth and emotion of those moments. That same sense of intention is something I carry into every area of my life. My photography blends a documentary approach with a touch of editorial style — authentic yet artfully composed.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Be yourself, never stop learning, and don’t be afraid to say no if you are burned out.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

Huge fan of crying. 10/10 recommend.
