Meet JOZA.INK

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful JOZA.INK. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with JOZA.INK below.

Hi JOZA.INK, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

My first experience with art was when I was 5, painting on my sister with markers. Everyone laughed and cried at the same time. That moment stayed with me, the power of art to move people emotionally, instantly, and together.

Years later, I discovered tattooing, and everything changed. The body became a living canvas. Suddenly, art wasn’t something you hung on a wall, it moved, aged, breathed. That changed everything for me.

Now, whether I tattoo, sculpt, paint, or create installations, I carry the same desire: to transform invisible emotion into visible form. Art is my language. My purpose is not just to create, but to connect.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m an artist working under the name Joza.ink, and my work moves between tattooing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and video. I was born in Athens, Greece, and for nearly eight years, I lived a nomadic life, traveling around the world, creating art on bodies, on canvas, and in space.

What makes my work special is the human connection behind it. Especially in tattooing, where I create every piece freehand, based on a real conversation with each person. No trends. No repetition. Just pure collaboration and expression. My motto is: Give me trust, give you scratch. That trust allows me to create something deeply personal and unique every time.

But Joza.ink is more than tattoos, it’s a mindset. It’s about movement, emotion, and transformation. Right now, I’m preparing for an exhibition that merges tattoo philosophy with sculpture and installation. I want people to experience my world, the full spectrum of art that doesn’t fit into one category.

I’ve also been invited to speak at events like TEDx, and I continue to explore new ways to express and share my journey. My goal is to inspire others to trust the creative process and to never stop evolving

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Trust – Trust in my own vision. Trust in the people who come to me. Trust in the process and the unknown. It taught me how to listen, not just with my ears, but with presence. Even when I felt lost, trust gave me direction.

2. Adaptability – Traveling across different countries, cultures, and environments every month taught me how to create with what I have, wherever I am. That movement shaped my perspective and taught me to stay grounded in chaos.

3. Artistic perception – Studying and practicing visual art gave me more than technique. It taught me how to see, how to observe deeply, ask better questions, and express through any medium I choose.

Advice for others:
Focus on honesty and connection. Create from a place that feels true to you. Stay curious, stay open, and let your art reflect your unique experience. When you trust your instincts and keep growing, your voice becomes your signature — and it will always reach the right people.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

After over a decade of movement and creation, my current challenge is expanding how I work, not just through new mediums, but new technologies. I’m exploring how tools like AI can support my vision, open new creative doors, and help me shape the future of my work across tattooing, fine art, and beyond.

I believe learning never ends. The challenge is to stay open, curious, and intentional, even while the world around us moves faster than ever.
