Meet Ellyz Kei

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ellyz Kei. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ellyz below.

Ellyz, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

Besides taking really good care of myself physically and mentally, I understood that confidence comes from having the skills but also being ok with failure, nobody likes to fail but comprehend that I can and will fail eventually, but I’ll also survive and possibly have a richer experience after that.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am Ellyz, I’m a model and creative I’ve been modeling for over 7 years now, have background in theatre and performing arts, I’ve always been very artistic, and modeling has been one of the forms that I use to explore my creative side. I’m right now investing in growing my social media presence with focus on fashion, life hacks, neuroscience and every positive aspect that I can put out in the world.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I believe consistency, flexibility and kindness. These are qualities that can take you anywhere! If you’re kind, disciplined and flexible, you’ll find the right people to work with.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

Raise me for the world not for themselves, my mom was not perfect, of course, but she always made sure to let me follow whatever path I wanted to, with no unrealistic expectations, she just wanted me to be myself, I really appreciate her for that.
