Meet Brody Tschida

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brody Tschida a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Brody, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

One thing people tend to get wrong is thinking that mental health and mindset are only a small part of being successful. But I truly believe your mind has everything to do with your success. If you’re able to shift your mindset and create one centered around your goals, you can plan and attack those goals with real ambition.

Think about it we all have things in life we have to do but would rather not. Dishes, work, cleaning, etc. So why would you want to chase your goals if they don’t mean anything to you? You have to make whatever you’re doing enjoyable for you.

Don’t like doing dishes? Then make a game out of it see how many you can clean in 2 minutes. Sure, shifting your mindset to something like a game isn’t ideal for every situation. Some people think that’s childish or immature. But at the end of the day, your mindset and how you approach things is yours.

Everybody works differently. It’s all about looking within yourself and figuring out how you operate. If you can master your mind, everything else becomes a piece of cake.

So even though I could tell you all the ways I shift my mindset to make things more enjoyable, instead I want you to look inward and ask yourself:

What motivates you?
What do you enjoy doing and what do you avoid?

These questions might seem small, but they’re probably the exact things that are holding you back.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Brody Tschida. My whole life, I’ve had a fire inside me that I couldn’t exactly place.

I started my first “business” at 6 years old when I opened my first lemonade stand. After that, I made multiple YouTube accounts, ran countless more lemonade and bake stands, and tried just about everything you could think of.

At 14, I started my first real business Tschida Snow Removal. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that was a huge first step in my career. From there, I’ve explored all types of businesses and I’m still exploring today.

Right now, I’m running my own clothing brand, Urban Elite a brand built to motivate individuals all over the world. I’m also working on my own music independently, which I hope to start pushing out soon.

But I never want to be known just as a business owner.

The success I want isn’t about money or fame it’s about having the freedom to help people who are going through situations I’ve lived through.

Ever since I was young, I’ve understood how important it is to be kind. No matter what happens in my career or businesses, I take pride in knowing this:

Money might fluctuate in life, but the opportunity to show kindness will always be free.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Throughout my journey, I have realized that you can achieve anything you want if your mindset is right. I think my ambition drove me to take action and push towards my goals with excitement and confidence, I’ve always known from a young age that i was meant for more then what was around me, but I never had the confidence to push past the norm and try something different, but my ambition helped me push past that wall and hustle toward my goals with confidence. I also believe that creativity is very important in any career, The ability to look outside the box and create fun and creative ways to make yourself or your business unique is a necessity for any entrepreneur. For instance, recently I’ve had to pause production with my clothing brand Urban Elite because of new higher production costs, however instead of giving up or waiting and doing nothing. I have launched a new career in modeling as well as music, I have a lot in store for the next few months with my business, my personal brand, and my music career, and my creativity is what drives it all! Lastly having discipline has helped me to be a better business owner and person. Having the discipline to get up every day and give it your all is a very difficult thing to do, but as you keep working on your discipline, everything else falls into line. My biggest advice to anyone trying to chase their dreams and break the norm is to truly focus on your mindset. Sit with yourself and think “what wakes me up every day” Find that thing, that thing that excites you and motivates you, and run with it! You only have one life so why waste it caring about others’ opinions, lock in on your mindset, and pave your destiny.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m always am looking for other goal driven people to bounce ideas off! There are so many creative minds out there but not enough willing to collaborate and help another. I love meeting new people and hearing why they do what they do.
