Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bradley Whalen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bradley, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Talking with God everyday about continuing this purpose he might have for me. And definitely the motivation around me and the support I receive from followers, friends, and family always pushes to me keep going and work harder.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Since 2020 I’ve been creating music and putting it out into this world. Making music isn’t just fun to me- it’s a lifestyle. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about music. Over half of the hours in my day are dedicated to working on my craft and music. Now in 2025, I’ve only seen growth in every aspect when it comes to music. I consistently get more streams than ever, I put out a lot more music than I used to, I am continually getting followers, and I’ve performed more shows this year alone than the previous 4 years of my music journey. What I like to realize is that life is what you make it. If you put your heart and mind to something and let God take control, you will be able to do anything you wanted. Everyone says dream big but I say dream the unbelievable- let this life be something you constantly find joy in.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I have had amazing talks and advice given to me from friends, family, and supporters. Surround yourself with people you want to become and you will have the best friend group of your life (this is my advice).
1. My Dad telling me to always and never stop praying to God. I can’t thank him enough for telling me that. Completely changed my life.
2. My beautiful girlfriend pushing and motivating me to go back to school. I never had an interest in school but I knew I wanted to make music my life. Kaitlyn pushed so hard for me to be in the MAT program, and I’m grateful for that daily.
3. My engineer telling me to get my own studio equipment. If you are an artist or wanting to become one, get yourself equipment for making music ASAP! It is so beneficial to your process and creativity; you’ll fall in love and want to makes music daily.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
God. There is no one, or nothing more important in my life than God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And the Bible is a powerful tool in learning how to become the best version of yourself. Nothing in the Bible that you could apply to your life will have a negative or an unhealthy impact on yourself. I find myself asking God everything I have concern or confusion with and turning to the Bible when I need guidance or reassurance.
