Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danting Li. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Danting, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my confidence and self-esteem through consistently engaging in complex brand and web design projects such as Venus Jewelry, Nutrigent, Da Village, Redpoint, and Scorpio Luxury. These projects challenged me to push my creative boundaries—to brainstorm innovative yet strategically sound solutions that not only stood out in competitive markets but also aligned with real-world constraints like budget, technical feasibility, and business objectives. Navigating the intricate balance between design vision and client expectations required intense communication and problem-solving. Over time, as I saw the tangible impact of my work and earned the trust of my clients, I grew into a more self-assured designer with a strong sense of self-worth rooted in both artistic integrity and professional capability.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As the co-founder and lead designer of SparksGlo, I focus on helping brands redefine their identity and create impactful digital experiences. What excites me most is seeing how my design work can truly transform a company’s brand presence and e-commerce performance—especially for businesses undergoing brand reinvention or seeking a more cohesive online identity.
I place great importance on aligning each design solution with the essence of a client’s brand—striking the right balance between visual appeal, brand consistency, and commercial functionality. Under my creative direction, SparksGlo has successfully completed several high-impact projects, including the rebranding and WordPress e-commerce website for Venus Jewelry, the brand refresh and redesign of Nutrigent’s online store, a Shopify e-commerce overhaul for Da Village, as well as full branding and website builds for Redpoint and Scorpio Luxury. These projects have not only resulted in high client satisfaction but have also strengthened our reputation for delivering design solutions that are both beautiful and effective.
SparksGlo offers a wide range of services including website design and development, full-scale rebranding, logo design, video editing, illustration, 3D product visualization (image and video), social media management, and PR services.
At its core, SparksGlo is built on the belief that great design should be both visionary and practical—pushing creative boundaries while solving real business challenges. That’s the mission I wake up excited about every day.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, I would say the three qualities that had the most impact on my journey are sincerity, integrity, and attention to detail. Being genuine in how I collaborate, staying true to my word, and consistently delivering thoughtful, well-crafted work has helped me build long-term relationships and gain trust from clients and peers alike.
For those just beginning their journey, my biggest piece of advice is: don’t underestimate your potential. Resist the urge to define yourself by your current limitations. You are far more capable than you think—and often, it’s in the moments of challenge and uncertainty that you’ll discover your true strength. Trust yourself, stay open to learning, and remain committed to doing meaningful work. Growth will follow.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
Over the past 12 months, I’ve focused on deepening both my design expertise and my communication skills, and I’ve seen meaningful growth—not only as a senior graphic designer but also as a more thoughtful and strategic leader. One of the most significant projects I’m currently leading is the design and development of a bilingual WordPress website template specifically tailored for real estate agents in North America.
Unlike the many templates available for real estate agencies, there’s a noticeable gap in the market for well-designed, user-friendly, and affordable personal website templates for individual real estate agents—especially those needing both English and Chinese language support. My goal is to create a high-quality, cost-effective solution that empowers agents to build their personal brand online with ease and professionalism. I see this project as an opportunity not only to solve a pressing need but also to spark a new trend in how personal branding is approached within the real estate industry.
