Meet Maria Freeman

We recently connected with Maria Freeman and have shared our conversation below.

Maria, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I believe that we are all born with 100% confidence and perfect self-esteem. Later, our childhood experiences and environment shape our ideas and perceptions of ourselves. If we didn’t have a solid foundation—parents who raised us with a mindset of self-acceptance and love—we grow into adults who live in a perpetual state of shame, anger, resentment, hatred, and fear toward ourselves.

I like to call these distortions clouds. You are always the beautiful sun. There is nothing wrong with you. You are already perfect, beautiful, and enough, just the way you are. But the clouds—limiting beliefs, unresolved traumas, and subconscious programs—block your view of your own light. They stand between you and the mirror.

So, in order to see who you truly are and live as your authentic self, you simply need to erase these clouds and start noticing your truth and beauty.

This is exactly what I first did for myself, and later, with thousands of my clients.

I grew up in a very abusive environment, and I never heard a single compliment or a word of appreciation from my parents. Somewhere along the way, I started to hate myself. I believed that something was fundamentally wrong with me, that I was broken, and unworthy of love, abundance, or joy.

But if we zoom out and step away from these clouds, we can clearly see that none of these distortions make sense. They are simply beliefs you adopted at some point in the past—beliefs that you allowed to become part of your identity and dictate your life. But they are not real. They are just illusions.

I remember when I was a child, I loved creating little performances for my grandparents. I had fun with it—I wasn’t afraid of failure, I had no doubts about my acting. I was simply expressing myself creatively and joyfully.

But later, when I decided to attend a real theater school and develop my acting skills, my father would constantly tell me that I had no talent and that actors never make money, so I would end up broke for the rest of my life. He planted seeds of doubt, fear, and disbelief in my mind.

From then on, I began to fail in theater. I was afraid to express myself, afraid to share my ideas. I started forgetting my lines, and I would experience immense anxiety and even memory loss on stage. I was terrified.

But this had nothing to do with who I truly was. I was still that magnificent, talented, fun, creative child. I simply believed in the programming my parents gave me.

Later, when I realized this was just programming, I took everything into my own hands. I learned how to erase any programming that was false—programming based on my parents’ pain and suffering, not the truth about me. Then, I installed new programming—one aligned with the truth: that I have always been enough, beautiful, powerful, intelligent, and fun.

And this is where my confidence comes from today: I know the truth about myself. I know I am the light. I see the light in myself and in others, and I trust it completely.

But this isn’t even the deepest truth. If we continue to identify solely as a mind, body, or even as a soul, we will always experience instability and suffering in our relationship with the outside world. Comparison, the desire to dominate, and the constant struggle of good vs. bad will inevitably shake our self-esteem and confidence.

Through my long research of human psychology and spirituality, I came to a profound conclusion: The only way to embrace true confidence is to embrace yourself as a spiritual being having a human experience. In other words, to surrender to Consciousness itself—to let go of a rigid ego identity and begin to see the world from a state of oneness rather than separateness.

When you do this, it’s no longer about you vs. me. There is no comparison. There is only love. Only truth.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Clean up distortions. Surrender to Consciousness. Everything is already available to you—here and now. You just need to notice. And to notice, you must begin to see beyond the illusion.

Your eyes are programmed to perceive this reality only through the lens of your survival programming. It has nothing to do with ultimate reality or truth. The more false programs, limitations, and distortions you are willing to release, the more truth will be revealed to you.

In reality, you are the one generating this entire experience—but not the “you” as the character you are playing. The real you is Consciousness itself.

Consciousness is everything you see—and everything beyond it. You are all of it. You are already one with money, love, success, and everything else you desire. There is no separation. You simply need to notice it and tune in to the right frequency.

And I would be more than happy to help you do that.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Anyone who is willing and ready for rapid transformation, who is open-minded and motivated to create change in any area of life—whether it’s money, relationships, business, or overall mental and emotional well-being—can benefit from this work.

My approach is focused on delivering fast and lasting results. If you are dealing with trauma, subconscious blockages, limiting beliefs, or any mental, emotional, or spiritual barriers—and you want to erase them quickly and permanently—I highly recommend trying a session with the Eraser Technique (mariafreeman.com/booking-calendar/hypnotherapy-with-eraser-technique).
