Meet Natasha Cypril

We recently connected with Natasha Cypril and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

Being the only one in the room that looks like me used to feel like a silent weight I had to carry until I started seeing it as a crown. At first, it was isolating. There were moments when I was the youngest. Other times, the only woman. Most times, the only Black person, and sometimes all three. I would walk into boardrooms or investor meetings and not see a single reflection of myself. But I learned to stop waiting for mirrors and instead become the example.

I began showing up in excellence, not to prove I belonged, but because I knew I did. What once felt like a difference I had to explain became a strength I leaned into. It helped me connect more deeply, to bring new perspective and emotional intelligence into rooms often starved of both.

And I have learned that when you carry yourself with confidence, when you lead with integrity and vision, people don’t just respect you, they start listening. Over time I built a seat at the table, and now I try to extend that table for others. Because no one should feel they have to shrink themselves to fit in.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m Natasha Cypril, Founder and CEO of Cityroyce, a global real estate and investment advisory serving UHNW clients, discerning investors, and family offices, offering access to low-risk, high-return real estate investments across super prime residences in Los Angeles, London, Lagos, Dubai, Monaco, South Africa, and Nairobi.

What makes this journey meaningful to me is the trust behind every transaction. Our clients come to us not just for access but for alignment. They seek spaces that hold meaning and support the life they have worked so hard to build. We walk with them every step of the way, ensuring every acquisition is a true expression of who they are and what they stand for.

As Cityroyce grows, so does our vision. We are expanding beyond real estate into the luxury lifestyle our clients already live in, including private yachts, jets, VVIP concierge, and exclusive hospitality experiences that reflect their pace, values, and ambition.

This brand is deeply personal to me. It reflects how I move, how I lead, and what I believe power should look like. Not loud, but graceful and always legacy-driven.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Reflecting on my journey, three key qualities have influenced me the most: discernment, resilience, and relational intelligence.

Discernment has been everything. The ability to see beyond the surface, to feel when a deal is right, to know who to trust, and when to move. In real estate and high-level business, timing and intuition often matter as much as numbers.

Resilience was non-negotiable. Building something from scratch, especially in global luxury markets, will test your confidence, your patience, and your identity. There were moments I felt invisible, unheard, and underestimated. But I learned to keep showing up with quiet strength, even when no one was clapping yet.

Relational intelligence is what has truly elevated my work. Understanding people deeply, their fears, goals, energy, and expectations, has helped me build not just clients, but lifelong relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

For anyone early in their journey, protect your peace, sharpen your instincts, and be deeply intentional with your circle. Learn to listen more than you speak, and always lead with value. The world opens up for those who move with both vision and grace.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes, I’m open to collaboration, but I’m intentional about who I say yes to. I’ve built Cityroyce with care, and I’m most aligned with individuals and brands who move with purpose, excellence, and a deep commitment to legacy.

I’m interested in connecting with family offices, wealth advisors, real estate developers, private aviation and yacht partners, and luxury lifestyle brands that truly understand what it means to serve at the highest level.
