We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Logan Lockhart a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Logan, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I’ve always been an innately confident person. From a young age, I truly believed I could do anything I set my mind to. But as I got older I began facing real setbacks for the first time. I didn’t always land the job, win the client, or get the outcome I was working toward. That was humbling.
What I’ve come to understand is that while external setbacks are often unavoidable, internal ones—like breaking promises to yourself—are within your control. Confidence, I’ve learned, is built not by avoiding failure, but by consistently following through on what you say you’ll do. And that only works if you’re setting realistic expectations with yourself.
As someone naturally ambitious, I used to overcommit: squeezing in early workouts on too little sleep, packing my days with meetings and creative work, and trying to run at full speed indefinitely. But eventually I realized that kind of hustle isn’t sustainable, and more importantly, it chips away at self-trust.
Now, I view confidence as the product of intentional time management and self-respect. I build it by aligning my schedule with my actual capacity—not just my ambition. That means carving out time to rest, play, and recover, so I can show up fully for the things that matter most.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m the owner of Blosm Brands, a boutique marketing agency specializing in paid media and creative strategy for brands in the luxury fashion and beauty space—primarily those generating between $1M and $30M in annual e-commerce revenue.
Most of our clients come to us after working with an agency that doesn’t intuitively understand their customer or category. The strategies feel generic or cookie-cutter, and their internal teams end up getting pulled into every step of the process—having to rewrite briefs, rework creative, or rethink targeting—because the work doesn’t feel customized or compelling.
At Blosm, we take a different approach. I like to say we’re revenue-agnostic but consumer-obsessed—because as a boutique agency, we only partner with brands that fit our niche and that we’re confident we can grow. When you win, we win. We go beyond surface-level tactics, digging deep into your audience’s mindset to ensure every creative decision is rooted in real insight. We’re also an all-female team, and that matters because women control 85% of consumer spending. What makes us fundamentally good at this is that we deeply understand what people are buying, and why.
Right now, our focus is on elevating our creative capabilities. We operate as an always-on creative engine for our clients, using our in-house team of graphic designers and creative strategists to deliver a steady stream of fresh, relevant content. All of that content is yours to own—whether it’s for ads, emails, web, or social. And because we take full ownership of the creative process, we’re not just media buyers—we take full accountability for results by giving brands the variety and consistency that drives growth.
What excites me most about this work is helping brands that already have traction reach their next level. I love getting into the weeds of what’s working, what’s not, and where the untapped potential lies—then building a plan that’s as thoughtful as it is effective. Growth is only meaningful when it’s sustainable and strategic—and that’s exactly what we aim to deliver.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Grit, determination, and eternal optimism. These three qualities have shaped every part of my journey.
Always be the hardest worker in the room—whether it’s a job, a project, or a season of uncertainty. Show up fully, even when things are hard.
Consider it all joy when you encounter trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And if you let that endurance do its full work, it will shape you into the kind of person who’s not only ready for the opportunities ahead, but truly equipped to thrive in them.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
The past 12 months have been incredibly transformational for me, personally and professionally. Confidence and resilience are the two words that come to mind. I’ve learned how to stay grounded through uncertainty, how to trust myself more deeply, and how to show up even when things feel unclear or hard.
I came across a quote recently that said, “What a privilege it is to be exhausted from work you chose for yourself,” and I couldn’t agree more.
I’m incredibly grateful for the journey I’m on—and genuinely excited for what’s ahead.
