Meet Supreme Ape

We were lucky to catch up with Supreme Ape recently and have shared our conversation below.

Supreme , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

By working with a couple famous artists and just realizing not just anyone can do that.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I make beats for musicians. What I find most exciting about it is having an idea and making it come to life then hearing musicians use the beats I make, that’s exciting to me! I’m currently in the process of setting up my record label Rich Hustlers Mafia (R.H.M) and plan to have it ready to go by December of 2026.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

An important skill to have when doing music is being a people person! Being an outgoing people’s person can help tremendously in the music business, there’s a lot of talking to other producers or musicians, and talking to labels for releases. And just talking to people being yourself can help you grow connections and confidence! Don’t be scared to take a chance, send that message to the big artists, tag the big artists and just keep working don’t be scared to shoot your shot!! You’ll never know until you try. And as far as important qualities to have, just be yourself. Don’t let people make you feel bad for being yourself! People like to see genuine, hardworking people.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

There’s a list of people who have been helpful to me throughout my journey!
I’d like to start with my mother, she’s always been my number 1 supporter in life and with music. She’s always helped me with anything from life advice to music paperwork! She also runs a successful shop of her own called (MiRootsCreations)
Next I’d like to move onto a very close friend of mine. He’s a music producer who goes by the name (Khemics). Before I had any idea of how to make music he helped me. He walked me through the steps of making music and setting up my softwares, and still to this day he helps me grow and learn new skills that help me daily.
And lastly another good friend of mine, he’s a music producer that goes by the name (YBN Versace). He helped me learn the basics, he taught me new tricks like beat mixing, and because of the work I did with YBN Versace I got to complete a dream goal of mine, working with the famous rapper YN Jay!
Without these 3 people I don’t think I’d genuinely be as far in my career as I am today.
