We recently connected with Jeannina Jimenez and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jeannina with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Both of my parents set the example of what good work ethic is. My father and mother were both working full time while raising my brothers and I. I always had that example growing up. I am a hard worker. I got my drive and my consistency from my father who always encouraged me to do the right thing and the importance of honest hard work. My father and mother both taught me the importance of responsibility and reliability. Thanks to the models I had growing up I was able to successfully build my business, commit to my passions and my dreams. My work ethic had and continues to lay the foundation of my inspiration, aspirations and my driving force in regards to building my business. Therefore, the brand ‘JJConstellation’ was born.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Jeannina Jimenez. I am the founder of ‘JJConstellation.’ I am a latina Mexican American and Salvadoran American. I am a YouTuber, Reiki Master and a Life Coach. I read tarot cards for a living and help guide others through their journey. I have been reading Tarot for 17 years and I absolutely love it. I help my clients on their personal and spiritual development. The focus of my business is to bring holistic wellness to others. This is through my different forms of healing like, reiki and coaching sessions (1-on-1). All my services are made unique to assist every client.
I am really excited to host my first retreat, ‘The Kundalini & Spiritual Retreat’, this summer. This allows me to express my gratitude and guide my community during their spiritual awakening. The retreat will be in a Villa in Big Bear, CA. This will be a small group where we will be able to hold space for each other on our journey. I am also teaching Reiki Classes this year. I also sell prepared candles, oracle decks that I have created and do Limpias with herbs. I also started my podcast, ‘ JJs North Node’, on Apple Podcasts, there I open up more about my personal journey and my challenges. JJConstellation’s focus is serving the community, while bringing forth awareness and healing, while teaching others in the process.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back the qualities and skills that were the most impactful on my journey were dedication, ambition and discipline. Having dedication for my passion has helped me on my journey by staying committed. Discipline is what has given me structure to build on my ambitions. Patience is a quality that has helped me on my journey, reminding myself that when we want to build something stable and long term, it will take time and dedication.
My advice for those who are early on their journey is to not give up! To not be afraid to be different and stand out. It’s important to be committed and to be patient with yourself on your journey. To always remember why you started it in the first place.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I take a moment to just breath, to ground my energy. As a mother of two and a business owner, life can get chaotic. What I like to do when I feel overwhelmed is I take a step back and breath. I go out for a walk that helps clear my mind. Another technique is I bring myself f to the present moment. Reminding myself that I am doing the best at this moment with what I know. Like my son says “You tried your best, pack up your bags and try again tomorrow” that would be my advice. If all fails, then I indulge with a nice meal and a glass of wine.
