Zamira, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

Being a psychic, imposter syndrome is the name of the game–especially in the beginning. This was actually really challenging to push through in pursuing this as an actual career. What got me through imposter syndrome was viewing this profession like anything else that wasn’t mystical.

In any sport, we have to learn and practice in order to get better, so that’s what I did. I worked with mentors and practiced free readings on a LOT of strangers on TikTok, Facebook, and friends/family from time to time when I could muster up the courage. In exchange for the free service, I’d ask for feedback and I’d let that show me on whether or not I did well.

Eventually, I started realizing… wait. I’m actually doing this!! I started to take note of all the crazy visions I would see and how accurate they were. Truly a game changer.

Another thing that helped immensely was getting to meet people who did the same type of work! Doing this showed me different techniques and helped me understand that I wasn’t alone in the craziness of this all. Finding our weird people community helps a lot.

I’m Zamira, a clairvoyant psychic and tarot reader in the Austin, TX area who gives readings virtually online. What fuels me in this work is learning more about how psychic abilities work, learning the landscape of the otherside, and how our healing journey helps us evolve.

It’s fluffy to say “the answers are always within”, I know, but…. they kind of are? All of us have spirit guides who are constantly dropping hints and breadcrumbs on where we’re meant to go next, but the hustle and bustle of patriarchal society can kind of drown out the guidance.

We might think we want something, we get it and realize… “oh I’m fucked, this didn’t work out, and I actually kind of hate this”. Some of us don’t make changes because we think it’s all we deserve, it’s all we can get, or it appears to be a dream come true on paper.

Here’s the thing… the things that are meant for you, your true desires are actually encrypted in your human energetic signature. Psychics can read that!
