Meet Bianca Bonciu

We were lucky to catch up with Bianca Bonciu recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence by consistently stepping outside of my comfort zone. This meant doing things I was afraid of doing, even when my heart pounded with nerves. I think that you grow stronger every time you do something you’re scared of doing. I remember when I joined the Warner Bros. Toastmasters club,
I was so nervous. I read somewhere that people are more afraid of public speaking than they are of dying. And I felt it. When I got up to do my first speech my legs were shaking, but I was determined to do it because I knew that the only way to kill your fear is to do the thing you’re afraid of doing. When I finished my speech I felt like I was flying. Once we face the things that we fear, they no longer have power over us. Then little by little, speech by speech, my confidence grew, until one day, it wasn’t that scary anymore. We gain confidence every time we do something outside of our comfort zone.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I craft content designed to ignite inspiration and motivate action. My focus is on delivering engaging and thought-provoking materials that resonate with audiences, encouraging them to explore new ideas and pursue their passions. I believe in the power of storytelling to connect with people on an emotional level, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. Currently, I am working on expanding my reach and exploring new creative avenues.

What habits have you learned and what advice would you give to someone who is just starting out?

Reading personal development books has changed my life. A few years ago I asked myself : What do successful people do differently? I did research, and I learned that highly successful people are life long learners and they read a lot.
I started reading every day and I feel in love with books. To me a book is concentrated wisdom. What it took the author decades to learn , you can absorb in only the time it takes you to finish reading the book. Two books that have had a major impact on my like are Atomic Habits by James Clear and Becoming Supernatural by Dr Joe Dispenza.
My advice : read as much as you can.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I would dedicate the decade to creating content that inspires positive change in others.
