Meet Lori Riviere

We recently connected with Lori Riviere and have shared our conversation below.

Lori , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

Creativity is baked into our lifestyle. My team and I laugh together, eat together, explore together. When we travel — especially for events in cities like Paris — we make time to visit museums, galleries, concept stores, or just beautiful spaces that inspire us.

We believe in activating all five senses, and in making space for joy and play. That’s where fresh ideas come from. Our energy as a team is part of the secret sauce. We truly enjoy each other, and that connection fuels our creative flow.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

The Riviere Agency helps brands show up in the world in a way that’s magnetic and memorable. Whether that’s through a killer PR campaign, a high-impact activation, or a culturally relevant event that creates buzz and drives real business results.

What’s exciting is that we don’t just “do PR” or “do events.” We build experiences that resonate. And now, with our growing footprint in Europe, especially in Paris and London, we’re able to bring that perspective to a more global audience.

We love what we do, and we’re proud that it shows, not just in our results, but in how we show up for our clients.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Faith. I genuinely believe that the universe gives us the projects we’re meant to have. Even when something doesn’t work out, it’s usually making room for something better.

2. Problem-solving. There is always a solution. You just have to stay calm and be resourceful.

3. Work ethic. I’ve never been afraid to outwork the next person. That energy sets the tone for the entire team.

My advice? Protect your energy, stay aligned with your values, and know that it’s okay to take the unconventional path. That’s usually where the magic is.

How would you describe your ideal client?

The Riviere Agency loves working with brands who trust us with their vision…the ones who’ve seen what we’ve done and come to us because they want that magic. The best clients are open to doing something different, something bold. They value creativity, care about the small details, and want to make something that gets attention and feels aligned.

We especially love clients who understand that the most “grammable” moments are often the ones that feel the most thoughtful and unexpected.
