We’re looking forward to introducing you to Adam Treasure. Check out our conversation below.
Adam, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
What makes me lose track of time is creating. The moment I step into a story whether that’s through acting, writing, or building ideas for the future I disappear into it completely. Hours slip by without me noticing, because I’m in that flow where imagination and reality meet. In those moments, I feel alive in a way nothing else can give me.
But what helps me find myself again is reflection. Life hasn’t been an easy road.
I know what it feels like to start with nothing, to face struggles that could have broken me. At 19, I was homeless, and that experience shaped me. It taught me resilience, humility, and a drive to never settle. So when I step away from creating, I look back on that journey, on how far I’ve come, and it grounds me.
For me, losing track of time happens when I’m lost in the passion of creating but finding myself again comes from remembering where I began, and knowing that every step forward is proof of my strength. That balance between dreaming and grounding is what keeps me moving, keeps me becoming, and keeps me alive.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Adam Treasure. I’m an actor with a passion for storytelling and creating experiences that connect with people. What makes my journey unique is that I’ve had to build everything from the ground up. I know what it feels like to start with nothing, and that experience fuels my creativity and ambition.
It all started at a young age, though I never thought much about it at the time. My teacher approached me to audition for my secondary school’s rendition of Grease, and I was cast as Johnny Casino. I’m guessing that’s where the spark for acting first began, even though back then I didn’t pay much attention to it. Looking back now, I can see that moment planted a seed.
What I’d like people to know is that everything I do comes from a place of drive and faith. I want my story and my work to inspire others to believe that no matter where you start, you can create something extraordinary. Right now, I’m focused on growing my creative projects, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was when I found myself homeless at 19. At that age, you’re supposed to be dreaming big and building your future, but instead I was facing survival day by day. It forced me to grow up quickly and taught me lessons that no classroom could ever give.
What I learned in that period was resilience, humility, and perspective. I realised how fragile life can be, but also how much strength we carry inside when we have no other choice. It gave me a deep appreciation for every opportunity that comes my way now, because I know what it feels like to have nothing.
That experience shaped the way I look at people and at life I don’t take things for granted, and I always try to find the lesson in every challenge. It showed me that even the lowest points can become the foundation for something greater.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: hold on, you’re going to make it. At times, you’re going to feel like the world is against you, like the struggles will never end, but every challenge is shaping you into the person you’re meant to become.
I’d remind him that even in the moments of doubt, when it feels like no one sees you, your story is being written and one day, those same struggles will be the reason you can stand strong and inspire others.
I’d tell him to trust the process, to believe in his own worth, and to know that he is far more powerful than he realises.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say yes the public version of me is the real me, but it’s not the whole me. What people see is genuine: the drive, the ambition, the creativity, the resilience that’s all real. But like anyone, there are sides of me that don’t always show in public: the quiet moments, the doubts, the constant self-reflection.
I think it’s important to be authentic in everything I do, because the person I am off-camera and the person I am on-camera come from the same place. At the same time, I value having a private space to recharge, to think, and to just be Adam without the spotlight.
So yes, the public version of me is real but it’s just one layer of who I am. The deeper layers are always there, shaping everything I do, even if they’re not always visible.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I think what I understand deeply that most people don’t is how much strength comes from surviving hard moments and how those struggles shape the life you create afterward. So many people see failure or hardship as a setback, but I’ve learned it can be a teacher, a guide, and even a foundation.
I’ve experienced what it’s like to start with nothing, to feel invisible, and to face situations that test every ounce of your courage. What I’ve learned is that your mindset, your perseverance, and your belief in yourself are far more powerful than any circumstance. Most people underestimate how transformative struggle can be, but I’ve seen firsthand that it can fuel your purpose, drive your creativity, and shape the person you’re meant to become.
