We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jared Brewer. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Jared, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Recently, I felt a deep sense of pride watching the youth basketball team I coach put into practice the discipline and teamwork we’ve been building for weeks. It wasn’t just about winning a game — it was about seeing young players grow in confidence, encourage one another, and push past their limits. Moments like that remind me that investing in people, especially the next generation, leaves a lasting impact far beyond the scoreboard.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jared Brewer — entrepreneur, coach, and founder of New Line Equity and NewLine AI Academy. My journey began in the music industry, evolved through nonprofit leadership, and now thrives in technology, business education, and youth development. At New Line Equity, we focus on innovative tech solutions and smart reselling, while NewLine AI Academy empowers people to leverage AI for business, content creation, and automation. I’m also deeply committed to community impact, running the New Line Basketball Academy to teach young athletes both skill and leadership. What makes my work unique is the blend of faith, strategy, and grit — using every platform I have to equip people with tools to win in business and in life.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
One part of me that has served its purpose and now must be released is the habit of carrying everyone’s burdens as if they were my own. Growing up, I learned to survive by being the one who could handle anything, fix any problem, and hold it all together. That strength shaped my resilience, but it also weighed me down. I’ve realized that in order to grow and lead effectively, I have to let go of the need to control every outcome and instead trust others — and God — to carry their share. Releasing that weight creates room for me to focus on the vision and purpose I’ve been called to fulfill.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me patience in a way success never could. When everything is going well, it’s easy to believe you’re in control. But in seasons of struggle, you realize how little control you truly have — and how much you need faith, resilience, and resourcefulness to keep moving forward. Pain showed me the value of process, the importance of empathy for others, and the power of persistence when the odds are stacked against you. Success can celebrate you, but suffering shapes you.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is impact — making a difference in people’s lives through encouragement, opportunity, and example. They know I’m driven by faith, personal growth, and leaving behind something meaningful for the next generation. Whether it’s in business, coaching, or personal relationships, I care deeply about helping others see their potential and pushing them to rise above their circumstances.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
What I think people will most misunderstand about my legacy is assuming it was built on talent alone. The truth is, my story is one of grit, faith, and relentless discipline. I’ve had to start over more than once, and each time I built from the ground up with vision and consistency — not shortcuts. People may see the achievements and think it came easy, but what they won’t always see is the sacrifice, the long nights, and the moments I had to choose perseverance over comfort. My legacy isn’t just about what I’ve done — it’s about who I became in the process.
