Meet Chyl Music

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chyl Music. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Chyl, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Developing confidence and self-esteem has been a journey of self-discovery and personal growth for me. It’s been about embracing who I am and finding my own voice. Along the way, I’ve learned a few key things that have helped boost my confidence.

Firstly, self-acceptance has played a significant role. I’ve come to realize that I am unique and that my individuality is something to be celebrated. Embracing my strengths, weaknesses, and quirks has allowed me to appreciate myself and build a solid foundation of self-esteem.

Another important factor has been surrounding myself with a supportive network of friends, family, and mentors. Their belief in me has helped me believe in myself. Having people who encourage and uplift me has been invaluable in boosting my confidence.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Absolutely! I’m thrilled to share more about myself and what I do. As an artist and musician, my focus is on creating soulful and authentic music that resonates with listeners on a deep level.

What excites me the most about my work is the ability to connect with people through my art. Music has this incredible power to evoke emotions, inspire, and bring people together. I strive to create a musical experience that not only entertains but also touches hearts and souls.

One of the things that sets my brand apart is the fusion of genres in my music. I love blending elements of R&B, hip-hop, and soul to create a unique sound that represents who I am as an artist. This allows me to push boundaries and experiment with different styles, resulting in a fresh and captivating musical experience.

In terms of what’s new, I’m excited to announce the upcoming release of my latest single, “I Be In.” This track is a reflection of my growth and evolution as an artist. It showcases my storytelling abilities and showcases a sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary. I can’t wait to share it with the world and see how it resonates with my fans.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, there are three qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge that have been incredibly impactful. Authenticity, continuous learning, and resilience. Being true to myself and staying authentic has been crucial. In a world saturated with trends and influences, it’s easy to get lost in trying to fit a mold. But the key is to embrace your unique voice, style, and perspective. The music industry is constantly evolving, and it’s essential to keep learning and adapting. Whether it’s improving technical skills, staying updated on industry trends, or exploring new musical genres, the hunger for knowledge is vital. All of the greats had a mentality of continuous learning that I encouraged aspiring artists to never stop learning and exploring.
Last but not least, the music journey can be challenging, filled with ups and downs, rejections, and obstacles. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and keep pushing forward. It’s essential to develop a strong mindset and believe in yourself, even when faced with setbacks or criticisms. Surround yourself with a supportive network of fellow musicians, mentors, or friends who understand and uplift you during tough times. Remember that every setback is an opportunity for growth and that perseverance is key to achieving your goals.

My advice to those starting their journey is to embrace authenticity, foster a mindset of continuous learning, and develop resilience. These qualities will serve as pillars of strength throughout your musical journey, helping you navigate challenges, and ultimately achieve success. Stay focused, stay dedicated, and never stop pursuing your passion.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
Ah, books have been a tremendous source of inspiration and knowledge for me. One book that has truly made a profound impact on my development is “The 5 AM Club” by Robin Sharma. This book explores the power of early mornings and shares valuable insights on personal growth and peak performance. One of the key takeaways from the book is the concept of the “Victory Hour.” It emphasizes the importance of dedicating the first hour of your day to personal growth, whether it’s through meditation, exercise, reading, or setting intentions for the day. This practice has helped me start my days with intention and focus, setting a positive tone for the rest of my activities.
