An Inspired Chat with Fernanda

Fernanda shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Fernanda, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to stand fully in my truth not just as a creative or a chef, but as a whole woman. I used to be afraid of choosing stability, of committing to structure, because I thought it meant losing my freedom or my spark. But now I know that true freedom comes from feeling safe in my own skin and building a life that supports my essence, not one that constantly tests my survival. I’m being called to let go of the chaos, the constant reinvention, the fear of being “too much” or “not enough.” I’m ready to build something long-lasting — with both roots and wings.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Fernanda — a chef, creative producer, and experience curator.

I design epic happenings that blend conscious food, beauty, and emotion — from intimate pop-ups and creative retreats to soulful brand activations. My work lives at the intersection of nourishment and artistry, always rooted in natural, plant-based ingredients and a deep love for storytelling.

What makes my brand unique is that it’s not just about food — it’s about feeling. Every color, every plate, every detail is crafted to spark connection, presence, and joy. After years in television, restaurants, and wellness, I now focus on building experiences that awaken the senses and celebrate community.

Right now, I’m working on projects that bring this magic to life — think dreamy brunches, wellness mornings, and conscious collaborations that remind us that life can taste, feel, and look extraordinary.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a curious, expressive girl who loved creating with her hands — cooking, drawing, building little worlds from whatever I had around me. I was always organizing things, inviting people in, making something out of nothing. I didn’t care about rules or expectations, I just followed what felt exciting and alive.

Before the world told me to be “successful” or “sensible,” I was already building experiences — intuitive, heartfelt, and full of soul. That girl is still here. I’m just learning to trust her again.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When everything I thought was holding me together fell apart — my home, my work, my relationships — I had no choice but to face the parts of me I’d been avoiding. I stopped pretending I was always strong or always fine. And in that rawness, I found truth.

I began turning my pain into purpose the moment I realized it was the source of my depth, my empathy, and my creativity. It became the fire behind my food, the emotion in my experiences, and the reason I can hold space for others.

My power didn’t come from pretending I was unbreakable — it came from breaking open and rebuilding myself, consciously, piece by piece.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Care. Deep, intentional, soulful care — in how we cook, gather, relate, and create. I protect the value of honoring where things come from: the land, the people, the traditions. I believe in doing things with love, not just for the sake of efficiency or aesthetics.

In a world that moves fast, I fight for slowness, for presence, for remembering that nourishment — whether it’s food, connection, or art — should always come with integrity and meaning.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
The magic between the lines — the way I turn a meal into a memory, a gathering into a feeling, a detail into a story. They’d miss the care behind every ingredient, the colors, the textures, the emotion I pour into everything I create.

They wouldn’t just miss the food — they’d miss how it made them feel: seen, nourished, inspired, connected.

Because what I offer isn’t just a service — it’s a soulful experience. And that kind of presence is hard to replace.
