Reverend Sol Flowa Nulah shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Reverend Sol Flowa, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
That is a good question. I was about to say school, and although I certainly enjoy learning and expanding to be more intimate, I will save that. So, for me outside of work, I enjoy writing books. I have published 4 of my own books and 1 for a friend of mine, and I am finding a lot of joy in putting my wisdom and downloads into art to share with the world. I never was a kid that enjoyed reading coming up, but I did always enjoy writing, you could find me on any given day with a pen and a pad in my hand. When I look back at old pictures of me and I see myself holding a pen and paper, and I look at what I do with a pen a paper now, it does bring me so much joy. I was just sharing with my social media family how much I truly enjoy being able to share my works/words with the community “I could literally do this all day”, I said.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“I’m Reverend SOL Flowa—and my life’s work is about healing, connection, and divine alignment.”
I’m Reverend SOL Flowa, a prophet, medium, and holistic practitioner devoted to helping women and couples reconnect with their power—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I work at the intersection of reproductive health, relationship restoration, and intuitive guidance, and I see my role in the community as both healer and truth-teller.
I’ve authored two deeply personal and purposeful books: From Pain to Possibility: A Woman’s Holistic Guide to Overcome PCOS, Endometriosis, and Fibroids for Fertility and To Mother the Unmothered: A Journey of Healing, Reparenting, and Self-Love. These works were birthed from my own healing journey and are offered as sacred companions for others navigating fertility struggles and the impact of mother wounds. I have even created workbooks to support them both, they can be found on Amazon.
In my practice, Hana’s Healing House, I offer a range of services—from reproductive health classes and womb healing to intuitive tarot readings, spiritual mentorship, and couples therapy. I recently launched Root to Rise: A Six-Week Journey to Reclaiming the Reproductive Body, a powerful course designed to help women return to their bodies, their cycles, and their sacred yes. It starts 7/31 and I am truly excited to work alongside my community again.
I also work closely with couples—both monogamous and polyamorous—offering guidance through transitions, communication blocks, and deepening intimacy. Whether through private sessions or at our luxury Sol Unity Retreats, I hold space for love to evolve in its most authentic form.
As a medium and intuitive, I offer tarot readings and ancestral messages that help clients hear what their spirits have been trying to whisper all along. I don’t just read cards—I open portals. I consider my divination work prophetic, sacred, and necessary.
Every offering I share is a reflection of my calling: to help people heal in the ways they most need, and to remember that their path is holy.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Who was I before the world told me who I had to be? That is a good question, truly. I think I was a soft young girl and sometimes when I am able to return to that softness, I remind myself that this is okay. I like to think I was always the daughter of intuition, hearing God in the silence before I had words. I also had my first encounter with my grandma when I was about 13, and she had passed years before. That really shook me up but told me that I might have “supernatural gifts”. I was for sure scared then, and it would take me years to feel confident enough to share them.
As I journeyed on, I realized that I was already healing people with my presence, before I knew that pain would try to teach me my purpose. I was always finding adults much older than me who wanted to share their emotions, feelings and thoughts with me. I felt like I was holding space for so much healing before I even knew what I was doing but oddly enough I loved it.
The world, and my mother, tried to tame me with its limitations—too much, too loud, too soft, too deep.
But the truth is: I’ve always been exactly who I needed to be. Now, I walk in that truth boldly. I teach others to return home to themselves, to remember their bodies, their power, and their birthright to love, on their own terms.
I was never meant to fit in. I was born to remember and now I help others do the same.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain when I realized that I was causing some of it. And when I realized that the people who were causing me pain were actually banking on my masking to continue that they could keep causing me the pain. Which caused me greater pain.
I decided that I would not hide behind my trials, traumas and pains. I would no longer save people’s names for the sake of being the “bigger person” and I would turn that pain into medicine and digest it the same way I digested the pain. This is a relatively new thought form for me, so I am still working out the kinks but I find that the more I remain true to my truths, the more healing I will be able to uncover.
I have written books about my reproductive health struggles and pains with PCOS, Endometriosis, Fibroids, IVF and Unexplained Infertility that held me hostage energetically for over a decade. I also wrote a book about being an unloved, unmothered daughter and how that affected me later becoming a mother myself. The transparency has been so healing. Far more healing than the shame and hiding ever did, so I just think that being true to my journey, has attracted my tribe and essentially gave me the healing I thought I would shame myself into feeling.
There is power in alchemizing the pain, and I am just here to be an example of that.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
You know, I have to shoutout my good sis, Amina of @miraclesbymina @majestic_miracles.
Wow there is so much I can say about this woman! She is an amazing LA/LB/SFV hair stylist and entrepreneur giving back holistic wellness and literary work to the community, but man is she a beautiful woman, mother and friend. I always say you can really tell a lot about a person by the way they treat others when they think no one is looking or no one will find out. She moves with such integrity and vibrates at a frequency that invites others to do the same. It is truly the most powerful energy I have witnessed.
A little story time, I was just telling her a couple days ago that I met her earlier in her journey and when I see her now, I think although I was blessed to guide her then, she is a guide for me in so many ways. She said “We just passing the baton back and forth. You run the race, then pass it to me. I will run and then pass it to you”, and while I give her roses, I love that she gives them back. She shows how high value her character is in the way she treats people.
She hosted a little bonfire 1 2 at the beach and I was able to come out. She brought out so many ladies that I was introduced to by her and I was able to watch her in all her majesty and magic. It was beautiful to witness while I took a journey of reflection at the beach myself.
When we hoped in her car, she started calling everyone to make sure they made it home. Character. She then said out loud, “I have everyone’s location already I don’t know what I didn’t just check to see where they are at”. My heart and soul smiled so deeply man because 1. She got my location too baby I’m in there but also because so many people feel safe with her and want to have someone like her aware of them.
It just made me feel even more blessed to know a woman like her exists, and the extra blessing is I get to call her my friend.
Her power is there, and I yield to it and respect it most certainly, but her character is top notch. That is my girl fr yall!
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
My heart. If nothing else exists, and nothing else were, my heart and the way I speak to others’ hearts would still remain and be one of my greatest gifts to humankind.
