Story & Lesson Highlights with Angel Tuccy of Orlando Florida

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Angel Tuccy. Check out our conversation below.

Angel, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
This is such a beautiful question, because I think that most entrepreneurs are quietly building relationships and creating such beautiful legacies, but feel that if it doesn’t appear on a social post, it doesn’t count. What I’m most proud of happens in the quiet, behind the scenes and the unposted moments. The private conversations, the prayers and the creative thoughts that come while on a walk or away from my computer. I’ve had people tell me that the only way to measure success is to be able to track it on a spreadsheet and I know in my soul that’s not how I want to measure my life. I want to be remembered for listening, being present and being available, for my family, friends, clients, and peers. I believe I am here to encourage and pour love into people with a smile, an encouraging word, responding to a text.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I help experts, entrepreneurs, and authors share their stories by getting them booked on podcasts and turning those interviews into a powerful marketing strategy. I’m a media coach, best-selling author, and host of the Need a Guest podcast and community, where we connect show hosts with amazing guests.

I’ve spent over 15 years in media, and what makes my work unique is that I teach people how to monetize their media exposure—how to turn interviews into leads, clients, and sales. I’m passionate about showing business owners that being a podcast guest isn’t just about getting visibility—it’s about creating consistent traffic that grows your business long-term.

Right now, I’m promoting my newest book, Amplify Your Reach, and hosting a masterclass to teach people how to publish their book and use podcast interviews as their #1 traffic source. It’s exciting to see so many experts finally get the attention they deserve—without paying for ads or chasing social algorithms.

Whether you’re launching a book, building a brand, or just starting to share your story, I believe you don’t need to wait until everything is perfect —you just need a steady stream of guest interviews to get in front of new audiences every week.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that most shaped how I see myself was becoming a mom to my three children. It wasn’t just a role—it was a complete identity shift. Before motherhood, I was drifting through life without a clear sense of direction or purpose. Everything changed with them. My relationship with my husband and my immediate family shifted. I wasn’t just responsible for me—I was responsible for shaping the lives of three little humans, for being a role model and for standing up for decisions.

That responsibility gave me strength I didn’t know I had. It forced me to ask: Who do I want to be for them? What kind of example do I want to set? Being a mom became the catalyst for me to grow, to lead, and to become more intentional about how I show up in the world. In raising them, I discovered myself.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
For a long time, the fear of speaking up held me back more than I realized. I worried about saying the wrong thing, being judged, or not being “enough” to have a voice in the room. That fear made me play small—whether it was staying quiet in meetings, holding back ideas, or not fully stepping into opportunities that could have changed everything.

I used to think being quiet was being humble, but I’ve since learned that silence can also be a form of self-doubt. It took years (and a lot of encouragement) to find my voice and recognize that what I had to say mattered. Now, I help others do the same—because I know what it feels like to have something powerful inside you and still hesitate to share it.

Ironically, everything began to shift when I was invited to co-host a radio show. At first, I thought I had nothing to say. But sitting behind that microphone gave me permission to use my voice in a way I hadn’t before—it felt safe, even anonymous at times. Week after week, I started to come alive. That radio show turned into a 10-year career in broadcasting, and eventually, I found the courage to step onto live stages as a public speaker.

Finding my voice—literally—became the foundation of my purpose. Now, I help others overcome that same fear by showing them how to speak up through media, especially podcasts. Because I know from experience: your voice has power, and when you finally use it, everything can change.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One of the most foundational truths in my life is my faith. It’s the quiet strength behind everything I do, the compass that guides my decisions, and the peace I turn to when things feel uncertain. It’s so deeply woven into who I am that I rarely talk about it publicly—partly because it’s so personal, and partly because I never want it to feel performative.

But the truth is, my faith is what’s carried me through the hardest seasons. It’s where I’ve found resilience, direction, and purpose. Even when I don’t speak about it openly, it’s present in how I show up for others, how I run my business, how I lead, and how I love. It’s my constant reminder that I’m not doing this life alone—and that every step I take is part of something bigger than me.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m outside, especially walking along a beach. There’s something incredibly grounding about stepping away from the noise—the screens, the to-do lists—and just being present in nature, exactly as God created it. The sound of the waves, the feel of the sand beneath my feet, the rhythm of the ocean—it quiets my mind and fills my soul with calm.

One of my most peaceful and awe-inspiring memories was witnessing sea turtles being born and instinctively making their way to the ocean. It was a sacred moment that reminded me of the beauty of stillness, of trusting life’s natural flow, and of how important it is to pause. In those quiet moments by the sea, I feel completely connected—to nature, to my faith, and to myself.
