That’s a great question—lately, I’ve been slowly working my way back to who “Querrah/Kira” is outside of work. That’s looked like rediscovering my love for little joys: getting dressed up just because, library days where I can think and dream without rushing, trying new makeup looks that aren’t for clients, and just being present with people who pour into me. Right now, no two days are truly ‘normal’ — but they’re all full. Mornings start with coffee and emails, checking in on wholesale orders, online sales, and any urgent customer requests. Then it’s straight into production or product testing — whether that’s pouring candles, blending body oils, or reviewing quality control. Absolutely. I’m very glad I didn’t rush, especially in my early years entering the industry. Being mostly self-taught and without mentors to guide me, I knew I needed to move at my own pace.
