Story & Lesson Highlights with Shiquasha Lynéce of Pennsylvania, USA

Shiquasha Lynéce shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Shiquasha , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
Others imitating and spreading false lies about taking a spot away, that I ain’t ever agree to have.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
What’s sets me apart as an Artist, Writer, Fashionista, Entertainer, Influencer is designing my own merch and I don’t settle for anything that is offered to me in the modeling and music industry. I’m most proud of inspiring others and knowing that my music has a good impact on others. Especially, when receiving direct messages from supporters letting me know that they’re a fan.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
When others, whom I should beable to trust to a certain extent cross me too far and too many times. To the point, where they broke my trust and I have to cut them off or love them from a distance.
It’s possible to restore the broken bonds when owning up to the wrong doing and trying to resolve the issues that can still be fixed.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, but I get signs to keep going.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
When friends from back in the day express to me that “you are fire and a good friend.” That put a smile on my face because I was surprised that they felt that way, it was a relief!

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace, when I’m not in drama and having a good time. Either alone or with company. You got to watch the company you keep, you know.
