Tara` Hayes shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Tara`, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Who are you learning from right now?
Right now, I’m learning from two main sources: the top researchers and practitioners in wellness, biohacking, and preventative medicine — and God Himself. On the science side, I’ve been diving into the latest studies on epigenetics, cellular health, and longevity. My goal is to translate complex science into simple, actionable steps for the women I serve.
But I also believe wisdom is more than knowledge. God continues to remind me that health isn’t just physical — it’s spiritual and emotional too. Bringing both science and faith together is where real transformation happens.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a wellness specialist with a passion for helping women discover how prevention can truly change their lives. My work blends cutting-edge science — like epigenetics, cellular health, and biohacking — with faith, because I believe true vitality is physical, emotional, and spiritual. I also draw creativity from my years in acting and in music business, which allows me to connect with people in fun, engaging ways.
My mission is to help women embrace wellness as a way of life, so they can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What often breaks the bonds between people is fear, misunderstanding, and lack of trust — whether it’s in relationships, communities, or even in ourselves. When people feel unheard, unsupported, or judged, walls go up.
What restores those bonds is vulnerability, intentional listening, and forgiveness. Showing up consistently with compassion, grace, and honesty allows trust to rebuild. I also believe faith plays a crucial role: when we align our hearts with God’s love and practice patience and empathy, we can heal relationships and create connections that are stronger and more meaningful than before.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me lessons that success never could: patience, humility, and the depth of reliance on God. When things are easy or go according to plan, it’s tempting to rely on your own strength, but challenges show you what truly matters.
They teach empathy, resilience, and the value of perseverance, and they force you to examine your priorities and grow spiritually.
I learned that growth and transformation come not from accomplishments, but from how we respond, adapt, and trust God even in the hardest moments.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the current medical industry, outside of the preventative space, is that treating symptoms equals creating health. Too often, the focus is on quick fixes, prescriptions, or interventions after problems arise, rather than preventing them in the first place. The medical system reacts while the food industry profits, promoting highly processed, unhealthy foods, especially to kids and vulnerable communities.
True wellness isn’t just about reacting to illness—it’s about addressing root causes, supporting the body holistically, and empowering people to take proactive steps for long-term health.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had 10 years left, I’d stop wasting time on anything that drains my energy or distracts me from my purpose. I’d let go of overthinking, people-pleasing, and perfectionism, and focus fully on faith, relationships, and helping others thrive. This is how I try to live now, because none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.
