Hi brittany, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What battle are you avoiding?
Giving my dining and living room a much needed makeover

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! Im Brittany, I gi by listenwithbritt on amm social media platforms.
When I first started lurking online in the book community, I noticed that there wasn’t a whole lot of people talking about audioboiks. I strictly read via audio, so I thought I could help fill that gap. I started posting and people seems to enjoy my content.
I grew quickly and now have the best community ever. Im surrounded by the most amazing individuals and my life has never been the same since.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That being a redhead was ugly because I looked different than everyone else.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
I went to school for accounting and didnt do very well. After that, I changed my occupation to something that gave me so much for joy.
Photography. It was fun and creative and I got to experience so many kinds of people and witness stunning cultural weddings that I never would have experienced otherwise.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Keeping the kids of the world safe and strong.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That im comfortable in front of people.
I come off as easy to talk to and good at conversation online. But in reality, im very shy and have crippling stage fright.
I choke up, I want to vomit, I feel faint.

But when I’ve been asked to host bookish interviews, I still do them because I don’t want my fear holding me back and I love hosting and doing interviews.
If im afraid, I just do it scared.
