Story & Lesson Highlights with Everett Beck of Green Valley

Everett Beck shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Everett, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My son. Watching him grow and learn.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Everett. Born in Anchorage, Alaska but have lived in Arizona for over a decade. I, along with my wife, own a small pet support business in Green Valley, Arizona. Together, we have 25+ years of animal experience. We decided in late 2021 that we wanted to go into business for ourselves by providing our community of senior citizens and surrounding areas with a variety of pet support services e.g, grooming, medical baths, nail trims, and walks. Our grooms won’t win blue ribbons, but our canine and feline clients will have a relaxed and safe experience

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My parents

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Failure.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes. What you see is what you get.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
The hair! And my ability to pick up their giant dogs
