Good morning Robin, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
My business isn’t about the typical manners that people think about, like dishes and table settings. My business is learning about updated strategies to gain client trust and respect, boosting employee morale, increasing EQ, learning about phrasing, body language and incorporating all of these things plus more to increase ROI, create a positive business image and superb executive presence.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Robin Marriott has a B.B.A., M.Ed., and many other licenses, certifications and designations in different areas. In the early 2000’s she began writing curriculum and teaching Business owners, CEOs, Administrators, and Medical Providers updated strategies to improve ROI and Patient Satisfaction scores. She’s held the title of Physician Coach, Business Etiquette Liaison and even undercover patient and shopper to adequately teach her businesses skills. She’s also been an adjunct professor and spoken on different college campuses. When she isn’t speaking on updated strategies and manners, she can be found hosting parties, traveling and exploring new restaurants. She is the author of 3 books.Throughout her career, Robin has been passionate about teaching methods utilizing updated manners to gain client trust, increase ROI, create a positive office morale, and help businesses/individuals improve their communication/business skills. This passion led her to create personalized presentations and workshops.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I have worked with and experienced companies and people that struggle with careless phrasing, seemingly unintentional insults and lackluster customer experience, I have also observed all types of professions from medical doctors to different business owners receiving mediocre reviews and income due to weak people skills and business strategies. I have also observed day to day relationships that have been negatively affected due to these weaknesses and personally feel passionate about helping and promoting strategies that inspire others to become aware of their challenges and become better in these areas.
Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
One memory that really stands out when my instruction seemed to most effective is when I was asked to go visit a doctor that was deeply in debt and losing patients daily due to his demeanor. This doctor was desperate for help and was a little reluctant to talk at first, but when he put my practices into play his medical practice really took off. He began to talk to other doctors and businesses about his quick successes because he took the time to listen and put the strategies into effect. When others heard about his success they too wanted to hear about these strategies and put them into play.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I believe in transparency and practicing what you preach. I try to model my subject matter in everyday life, if people know you, trust you and see an authentic person, they are more likely to utilize what you have to offer. There are personalities or situations that are more challenging to follow through with these strategies, but it is truly my desire and goal to persevere and continue to be a good example, it pays to mind your manners!

Every person can have influence within their sphere and make a positive difference without even realizing it. If more companies and individuals would realize the importance of learning about updated manners, strategies and emotional intelligence, customers, employees, family members and others would be be affected positively!
