Maju Veneziani’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Maju Veneziani and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Maju, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
Since my job is to travel, what brings me joy is being with my family, reading a good book, watching a series or movie.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Maju Veneziani, I am Brazilian and I am 28 years old. I have a degree in Advertising and Tourism Management. I am passionate about photography, discovering new stories, and traveling. My biggest dream is to see the world!

Bora Viajar pelo Mundo is a company specialized in historical tourism, dedicated to telling the fascinating stories of different places around the world. Through YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, I share culture, knowledge, and art, providing an immersive experience for those who love to travel and discover the past in an engaging way.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’ve always been a shy but communicative child, and I loved taking part in school presentations. In elementary school, after one of my presentations, my grandmother Sydiene said that I had the presence of a journalist. A few years later, my father also told me that I should pursue journalism. But I didn’t, because I was still too shy. Today, through my channel, I present cities and interview people who share their stories.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, several times. Since Bora Viajar focuses on a very specific niche, it has been difficult to grow on social media — and it’s still a challenge today!

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Walt Disney because, even when people didn’t believe in him, he never gave up on himself or his dreams. That’s how he built a legacy that still lives on today.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m traveling and discovering a new city or country, even with all the little challenges along the way.
