An Inspired Chat with Ladii Patterson of Greater Cleveland

We recently had the chance to connect with Ladii Patterson and have shared our conversation below.

Ladii, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I first felt truly proud when I had my billboard put up in downtown Cleveland. I had always wanted to get one and I wasn’t looking for sales just to let others know that I am a Published Author and to check my books out.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello my name is Ladii, I am a Published Author, this year marks my 15th year. I just finished my first ever “Past Love, Present Fate” Book Tour. The book release was January, the tour began in March and ended in August. I ventured off to several cities and states. More projects is coming within the next year. So stay tuned.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband, Stanley keeps me encouraged to keep going and to stay humbled as well.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Just recently I have used my Pain and turned it into Power. I had no other choice because I allowed people to cause my pain, those that I truly loved, I had to change my mindset and pray more for myself and even pray for them, now I look at that pain and speak life into myself.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that family and God matters to me the most.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
At one point I wanted praise from others but since I changed my mind frame and prayed to ask God for help and guidance, I have definitely been giving my best to everyone I come in contact with, letting my light shine. Being the best version of myself as a mother, wife, nana, woman of God and an Author. Allowing my readers to hear and see me.
