We’re looking forward to introducing you to Laura Correa. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Laura, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
That we offer just a basic facial service. Our carefully curated services are designed to be unique healing journeys, including elements of energetic healing and mindfulness. We integrate some of the most effective non evasive facial modalities and non toxic skincare into our 70min- 2 hour treatment- and help our clients achieve healthy skin and realign energetically at each visit.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Laura Correa, and I am the owner and founder of Green Revolution Studio in Bethesda, Maryland. I’ve been a holistic master esthetician since 2009 and am also a certified energetic healer, specializing in frequency healing using tuning forks.
At Green Revolution Studio, I offer massage-focused, experience-based holistic facials designed to support healthy skin and a peaceful spirit. My treatments blend traditional holistic practices with the latest non-toxic, non-invasive technologies—such as professional-grade microcurrent—to naturally slow the aging process while honoring and celebrating each client’s natural beauty.
I was born in Szeged, a small city in southwestern Hungary, and moved to the United States when I was just eight years old. English is my second language. My European roots strongly influence my holistic approach to skincare, incorporating herbs, natural products, and energetic healing to support the body, mind, and spirit.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Managing a large group of employees taught me a lot. After COVID, I rebuilt my business and expanded to a team of five practitioners while still offering services myself. While I’m proud of that growth, it ultimately led to burnout and pulled me away from my creative flow.
Today, I operate with just one other esthetician in a beautiful two-room sanctuary space. I finally feel back on track—reconnected to my purpose and experiencing the joy in my work the way I used to.
Society often tells us that success means constant expansion and scaling, but I’ve learned that success looks different for everyone and to stay true to ourselves. True success, for me, is found when you’re creating from a place of joy. That is when the magic happens and you grow exponentially in business.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
In my experience, going through hard times is one of life’s greatest teachers—a blessing in disguise that prepares you for greater strength , clarity and purpose with each battle you overcome.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Human connection, authenticity and community
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
That we will only have our experiences at the end- so have fun, follow your heart, go on your. own unique journey and stop worrying.
