Yes, witnessing the birth of my daughter has profoundly elevated my sense of motivation and purpose. As a proud man who has always been self-driven, this extraordinary experience has inspired me to strive even higher, and I am genuinely excited to see how this newfound inspiration will influence my journey moving forward.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Javon Talley, also known as your Indigenous Cowboy, and I proudly represent my Cusabo tribe heritage. Through the legacy of Morningstar Ranch, I have expanded my family’s name by specializing in the creation of Western-inspired merchandise and collaborating with like-minded companies and content creators who share a passion for the cowboy spirit. My work is dedicated to preserving and celebrating Western culture while honoring my indigenous roots.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My late grandmother, Olinda Mitchell, was a remarkable woman whose perspective on my childhood endeavors profoundly shaped my outlook on life. While I, like any young child, would ask for various things, she viewed each activity, toy, or venture I wished to pursue not merely as a fleeting desire but as an investment in my self-belief and personal growth. Her unwavering support and belief in nurturing my potential played a pivotal role in shaping the man I am today.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
How to stay getting up and finding another way!

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
The content I share reflects my sense of humor and hobbies, offering a glimpse into my personality, though I tend to keep these aspects somewhat reserved. I believe the authentic me is more introverted, finding greater joy in solitude, which helps reduce the stress of constantly ensuring others’ happiness. This balance allows me to maintain a genuine sense of self while navigating social interactions with care.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Nothing! If I had 10 years left I’m going harder then ever. I’m ensuring my family is taken care of to the fullest and going to enjoy my last days sipping bourbon watching the sunset like any cowboy would enjoy!
