Hi THIRD, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes, coming from where I’m from education is a big part of my upbringing. A family full of educators makes many of us sticklers for it! I am so happy to have both of my sons in college, that being proud is an understatement, Fortunately they are both willing to listen to me and are inspired by each others positivity! I constantly marvel at them both and pray that they continue to remain in the spirit and tradition of love, logic, and leadership!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am THIRD DAGREE the bosses boss, self made entrepreneur and owner of Boiling Point Entertainment, and longstanding media and marketing brand specializing in connecting the dots in urban culture between product and consumer as well as mentorship of a select group of young men including my own sons! We offer quality content, exclusive commentary high end fashion, music production, management and statistical insight! I network with radio (internet & terrestrial), dj coalitions, media platforms, and other outlets to get artist placement and / or compensation for their products. I raise a large organic vegetable garden where I teach the young men the value of maintaining the land, eating healthy, and hard work! We are all about building over here, not only a brand but a village!
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I could sum that up in one word and most can relate! Before the world told me who I had to be I was innocent! Now that I am in the world and spent valuable time trying to be of the world, just to be rejected by the world I spend all of my time trying to regain my innocence, giving all glory to the creator and walking the path of the righteous! This big light of mine, I have no choice but to shine! At one point in time I was willing to give my shine away or let other take advantage of my gifts! There is truly no standing in, when you are outstanding!
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I feel like giving up every day, I somehow find a reason to keep going! I use to try and reflect on my past for fuel but it’s all my mother and I, no dad and that makes my vision somewhat distorted also a lot of trauma with my step father has made me numb as to looking to follow in either of those guys footsteps! I use to think why did my mom pick this guy, but oh well. I’m here and giving was never part of my plan tough sometimes I feel like, what if I’d took the easy way out!
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
my children and that’s it, that’s all! They are truly my reason for not giving up! The irony is that my sons are my closest friends!

My wit, charm, and uncanny ability to try and meet everyone where they are and hope to elevate and lift them up to reach heir full potential! This is not my will, but the will of God!
