Meet Demeshia (Jordan) Williams

We were lucky to catch up with Demeshia (Jordan) Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Demeshia (Jordan), so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose in life by trusting God and listening to his instructions for my life. On May 2022 at 11:03 am my purpose drop in my spirit and was places on my heart. After dealing with Postpartum myself. Going through a separation / Divorce with a new born, I decided to get a hold of my heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, and life. I decided that I wouldn’t let Postpartum get the best of me. I got closer to God, Prayed more, dived deeper into studying the word (The Bible). Got in tune with myself, God, my purpose, and what he placed on my heart to do. What God placed on my heart was to start a Nonprofit. That’s were FreeMe, Inc. Nonprofit Organization seed was planted and was established on March 14, 2025. Our Mission is to Provide Group Support, Awareness, and Resources for Women and their Families dealing, overcoming with Postpartum Depression. Being the Founder of FreeMe, Inc. Nonprofit has allowed me to help, assist, encourage, uplift, women and families dealing with and overcoming Postpartum.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

When trusting God with my purpose. I decided that I would make it my mission in life to do what God called me to do. To make a difference in this world. To support, encourage, uplift, and love the woman and families in our community and who we will serve. We love to collaborate and Partner up with other Companies, Nonprofits, Foundations, Churches, Schools, and other Organizations that are geared toward bettering the community when it comes to Women and their families Mental Well-Being, Maternal Prenatal Mental Health, and Postpartum, etc. We also support Women and Families in Belize. We Provide Monthly Zoom Community Conferences And Workshops with Guest Speakers on numerous topics. We also provide FreeMe, Inc. I have also launched numerous children’s books, poetry books, devotional journals that you can also check out on my IG, Website, and they are available on Amazon. I am currently working on upcoming Zoom Conferences for the Father’s I will have Guest Speakers of Man /Father’s speaking from their point of view on Fatherhood and some of their difficulties they may have faced being a father.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most important qualities that my Nonprofit has ensured are our Core Values which are Encourage, Uplift, Love, and Support. I believe the best advise i could give is always believing in yourself, and that nothing is impossible. You can accomplish anything when you set your mind to it. If you have a Dream or Passionate about fixing a problem in this world go and make it happen. Figure out your Purpose in life and Go for it. Pay Attention to God and your inner self. If God places something on your heart to do in this world that can create a positive change just go for it. You never know how many people need you in this world and how many lives you will change by hearing your story. Don’t keep your story/ testimony to your self it might change many lives and this world.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

Reading my Bible has played a very important role in my development and has added a lot of valuable wisdom in my life. But not just reading my Bible every day alone. Having a One-on-One relationship with God has helped me a lot throughout my life journey. The scriptures, the stories, the lessons, the prayers have all played a significant part in my life. The peace that God gives me is the best thing since slice bread. Staying connected to God has help me navigate through this thing called life. Knowing when God tells you yes, no, or wait could be challenging. However; do not let that stop what God is doing in your life. Sometimes a delay could be him protecting you.
