Story & Lesson Highlights with iloveyouMUUU of South Philly

We’re looking forward to introducing you to iloveyouMUUU. Check out our conversation below.

iloveyouMUUU, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: When was the last time you felt true joy?
Lately, I’ve been feeling joy throughout my days everyday! i’ve been through so much in my life that i’m now able to find joy in even the most simplest things. I feel joy from my neighbors kitten visiting me while i’m in my backyard, for some reason it brings my peace as well as joy. Being in nature just breathing it all in, being amongst the insects (butterflies, grasshoppers, spiders etc.), soaking in the sun, being able to relax & do whatever I please on my own time. I’M FREE with no restraints!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
CHA CHING AHHH!!! MUUU!!! Wassup World? It’s the KOW who jumped over the moon.. formally known as MULAH MARCIANO, now going by iloveyouMUUU! I was born & raised in Trenton, NJ but I reside in the city of ‘Brotherly Love’ – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I can talk about it, but I rather show you how bright of a star I truly am. I make all types of art which works as therapy for me. I love the way I can go through something in life & talk about it in song, which not only heals the wounds to my heart & soul, but it also helps others who may be going through similar situations & or feeling the same emotions i’m displaying. Creating something from nothing with thrift clothes I found around the city to selling my pieces as merch or either wearing the piece myself, brings me joy. My style sets me apart because I am true to self! I produce Graffiti & Abstract art that resonates with my higher self, which is why I’m able to create so effortlessly. I also model which has always been natural for me, because i’m not shy in front of a crowd nor camera at all. Etc., etc., etc., Basically what i’m saying is, I was bred for the life I live today. All praise to the Most High!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
ALL OF THEM.. especially with my immediate family or throughout the relationships I’ve had in the past with women. I feel as though there’s a lesson to be learned through all relationships whether they went well or to hell, whatever. My Family in whole (beyond immediate) taught me that you can be bonded by blood yet not together as one/family. I’d like to say I am very family oriented, which is one of the reasons my name as an artist last name is Marciano (Mulah Marciano). Marciano stems from an Italian background, based on the movie ‘The Godfather’ to a degree. I idolized the way Italian families stuck together no matter what the situation was; the morals, the code, how they presented themselves to the public to how they had each others back even when someone in the family was on some bs, they never forgot that-that member is still FAMILY & shall be treated as such. Things that I felt shouldn’t even have to be spoke upon.. like, you feel it in your heart when you’re doing what’s right or wrong for the people you love, so you do what’s at your family’s best interest so that you guys build something generation that only grows stronger till the end of time. My family is nothing like that. I actually feel alone in this world most of the time, but that only made me stronger & realize I truly don’t need anyone but the Most High on my side. Same with women. No matter how much love I give or gave to women (even my Mother) being the memories we shared, the time spent, etc. all of it may seem like a waste of time at surface level because they aren’t in my life at all now.. like, not even as a friend anymore – but when I stepped back & assess the situation for what it was, I see I learned a different lesson through each one of them. I feel as though the lessons learned were trial & error so that I have things a bit closer to perfection when I actually meet the woman I may ultimately spend the rest of my life with. It’s easier for me to decipher between green & red flags now. I know what I bring to the table, I know what I earned, I am sure of what I deserve & I won’t accept anything less of that.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Homie, you way bigger than what the world trying to make it seem yo.. Don’t ever let a dweeb tell you no different! When you look in the mirror, look deep into your eyes till you touch your soul & scream “I’M HIM!!!”, because YES TF YOU ARE! STAR! Tell them peasants watch the throne cause it’s OUR TIME NOW HAHAHAHAHA F’ THEY TALKING BOUT?! STOP F’N PLAYING WITH ME LIKE WE AIN’T BEEN ON THAT! Them haters see it from a far, you hear me? they gotta look up to see you, you feel me? The KOW who jumped over the moon, that’s you right?! okay then, get money my G! CHA CHING AHHH!!! MUUU!!! YEAH! it’s up there!

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
100% & anybody who really know/around me can vouch for that. See, that’s one of the things I stand on.. being HONEST & TRUE TO SELF! I been lied to by so many people for what I feel was no real reason to lie, so I simply tell the truth. Tf we lying for? I ain’t out here scared of nobody to the point I can’t tell them the truth & most importantly, it’s just me to be real with someone even if it has to be harsh at times. I’m a 90’s baby (1993), growing up was very much uncensored for me so I ain’t really used to everybody being all sensitive nor am I leaning in with it, because THIS IS LIFE. Y’all gotta learn to live with hearing harsh realities so that you can deal with the problem at hand instead of tucking it to the side. My father gave me a lot of constructive criticism with sports growing up so i’m used to hearing what I didn’t really want to hear at the time, but it all made me better & look at things from a different perspective. Take what resonates, leave the bs. I said that to ultimately say, this is my world, i’m free to do as I please whenever I please so i’m a do what I want, when I want, wherever I want & ain’t nothing you can do to stop me from being ME! Let me be!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I’m literally doing that now.. well, I’d say I’ve been doing that since I could remember to be honest. Everything I do is for me, stemming from my heart with love, truly this is my passion.. art itself. Creating is what makes me feel alive! I think back on a time where I was working a 9-5 desk job in Cherry Hill, NJ. Every shift felt as if it was draining my energy in exchange for money.. the more I worked, the more I felt like a robot.. the more I didn’t feel like myself.. the more I started to lose grip on what’s actually important to me. Money, money, money.. life can’t just be about getting money all the time, but that was the only reason I was at that job, nothing else. The whole reason I do what I do is because, it’s what I naturally feel I am supposed to do with my life. I’m connected to the divine within so I know.. I feel it.. the energy.. nothing is by coincidence so it has been clear as day to me what my mission on earth for the Most High is to complete. That being said, I do my best because I reach to be the best me; my highest self.
