Hi Trevor, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Actually Yes!!! I got invited to the Lonely seal Film and music festival in Boston last Month. I was given a plus one and decided to bring my nephew Lamont along for the ride.. To connect with him made me realize how wise beyond his year he truly is. I could talk about my accomplishments but I must say I’m so proud of this wise, mature and humble young man..

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My Name Is Trevor Pleasant or most called me Trevor P. I like to say that I am a medical professional by day and musician by night. I have been in the medical field for 12 years. I work for Davita dialysis. I am also a musician. Rapper, Singer-Songwriter, Producer, and Multi-Instrumentalist. Also soon to be Filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and director….

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I would say my Mom. She is literally the reason why I wear many hats. She would always tell me to have multiple back up plans so I would have something to fall back on. She saw my gift in athletics and the creative arts which she absolutely supported me in. With that said she also wanted me to get my education and be a man of many options in my career and creative journey.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Personal Loss. In 2016 and 2019 I had two sisters passed away. In 2020 my best friend passed away after his life long battle with cystic fibrosis. In 2022 my beautiful mother also passed away. Made for many sleepless nights. I felt like I was navigating through this Journey alone. I also knew that with the power of relating to others and music as healing that I could tell my story to others who have dealt with the pain of grief. Basically to let them know that they are not alone in this Journey we call life…

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes. Oh absolutely!!!! I’m silly, goofy, funny, theatrical Lol. I’m also a man of deep thoughts and sometimes wear my emotions on my sleeve. There are many versions of me publicly but definitely is the true Authentic Trevor P,

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That there are many sleepless night that come with some level of success. These accomplishments are accolades are not just given. Many days and Nights of uncertainty and doubts through this journey. Unfortunately not everything is fun and games. No matter how effortlessly I make it seem. There is tears, weary nights, scars and pain that come only the way.
