We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Paola Bayron. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Paola below.
Paola , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
There have been countless times I’ve walked into a room and realized I was the only one who looked like me. For a while, that used to feel heavy, as if I had to carry not just my story, but everyone else’s too. What I’ve learned is that being effective and successful doesn’t come from blending in; it comes from standing rooted in who you are. From being authentic. I’ve come to embrace my difference and uniqueness as gifts, not burdens. They are part of the core values I bring into my work, whether through spiritual counseling, healing, or entrepreneurship. I’ve learned to protect my energy with boundaries, to rest when needed, and to choose alignment over approval. Every day, I remind myself that my light is meant to lead the way, and when I allow it to shine, it opens doors, creates pathways, and turns obstacles into archways.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I wear many hats, but at the heart of it all, I’m a storyteller and a guide. I started my career as a four-time Emmy Award–winning journalist, and today I’ve expanded that calling into the spiritual world through The Inner Puzzle. My work blends intuition, healing, and community. Whether it’s through a reading, a workshop, or a wellness event, my mission is to remind people that they already carry the light and wisdom they’re searching for. What excites me most is watching transformation unfold right in front of me. Seeing someone come in feeling heavy, uncertain, or disconnected, and leaving with clarity, peace, and hope is what brings me joy and fulfills my purpose. That moment when someone realizes, “Oh, I am the missing piece of the puzzle”, that’s why I do what I do.
I’m currently offering private and group readings, hosting women’s circles, and evolving The Garden of Ezer into full consciousness and wellness events across the U.S.; experiences designed to bring together men and women for unforgettable days of healing, community, and spirit-led transformation. I’m also in the midst of writing my memoir. There’s no set release date just yet, but I’m fully embracing the creative process and allowing it to unfold in divine timing. In the months ahead, I’ll also be rolling out new masterclasses, recordings, workshops, and mentorship programs, as well as, tools and resources to help others strengthen their intuition, embody their purpose, and step boldly into the life they’re meant to live. I’m also planning on extending my original podcast “The Inner Puzzle” Podcast to other platforms and changing it to be more in tune with my evolution.
At the end of the day, my brand isn’t just a business, it’s a movement of remembrance, healing, and expansion. I want people to know that they are divine, they are meant to create, and they are never too lost to come home to themselves. They can always release, align and rise who they were always meant to be.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three qualities that have carried me the furthest are communication, authenticity, and leading with genuine intentions. My background as a journalist sharpened my ability to communicate, not just with words, but with presence; to really listen, to ask the right questions, and to connect with people’s hearts. Authenticity has been my anchor. The moment I stopped trying to fit into someone else’s mold and chose to show up exactly as I am, doors began to open. And being a good person with good intentions, rooted in love for my family, my community, and my faith, has shaped the way I serve.
For anyone just starting their journey, my advice is simple: nurture your voice, trust your truth, and connect to something greater than yourself. Learn to listen deeply; not only to others, but to your own inner guidance. Practice showing up as your real self, even when it feels scary, because that’s where your power lies. And remember that success isn’t only measured in achievements; it’s measured in how you love, how you serve, and the light you share.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I’ve read so many books during the time of my spiritual awakening, but I can honestly say two books that have deeply shaped my journey are “Signs” by Laura Lynne Jackson and “Only Love Is Real” by Dr. Brian Weiss. “Signs” reminded me that we are never truly alone. That our loved ones and the Divine are constantly speaking to us through synchronicities, patterns, and gentle nudges. It taught me to trust those whispers and to see life as a conversation with the unseen. “Only Love Is Real” opened my heart to the truth that love transcends lifetimes. Reading about soul connections and the way we are brought to Earth to experience and to expand. How lessons reappear again and again to help us soften into trust, to see every relationship and experience as purposeful, and every challenge as part of a greater tapestry, a bigger plan.
