An Inspired Chat with Emily Aarons of North Shore

Emily Aarons shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Emily, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings are all about intentional alignment. Before anything else, I start with breathwork or a short meditation to ground my energy and set the tone for the day. Coffee comes next—and while it brews, I let my dogs out and enjoy that quiet moment of connection with nature. Movement is a priority, so I like to exercise before my kids wake up. Once they’re up, I cook breakfast and go over their schedule with them—being fully present in both family and leadership roles is important to me.

After they head off to school, I take my dogs for a 25-minute walk through a nearby 20-acre field. That time in nature is where I often receive my best downloads and insights. By the time I’m back, I’ll make a nourishing breakfast, shower, and begin my workday around 9:30.

What may look like a “slow” start is actually very intentional: I’ve learned that when I honor my energy and create space in the morning, I show up clearer, more creative, and far more effective for my clients. It’s this same principle I bring into my work—helping leaders and organizations align their energy so they can perform at their highest level without burning out. If I don’t start aligned, I can’t lead powerfully—and the same is true for every CEO and organization I support.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Emily Aarons, and my life’s work is helping leaders and organizations thrive by aligning their energy with their purpose. For over 24 years, I’ve been blending energy healing with business strategy—guiding CEOs, entrepreneurs, and teams to heal deeply, unlock clarity, and grow sustainably. Because when leaders feel better, businesses run better—and profits follow.

I’m the founder of the Mastery & Ascension app, a premier platform for conscious leaders to access curated energy healings anytime. My podcast, Aligned & Unstoppable, has reached over 500K downloads, positioning me as a global voice in energy alignment and intuitive leadership.

This path started early—I opened my first wellness center at just 22. Since then, I’ve built a million-dollar online enterprise, created transformational frameworks like The Energetic Advantage™ Method, and earned recognition for pioneering the intersection of business growth and energy healing.

Beyond my work, I live on a small farm in Massachusetts with my husband, our two boys, and a menagerie of animals. You’ll often find me gardening, baking sourdough, or cooking meals fresh from the garden—because to me, true leadership is rooted in alignment with both purpose and life.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
At my core, I’ve always been joyful, curious, and deeply devoted to helping others—that hasn’t changed. What has changed is my relationship with how the world perceives me. For years I was told I was “too much” or even “intimidating,” when in reality, my nature is more like a golden retriever: I’m genuinely happy to connect, to love, and to bring light wherever I go.

Like many leaders, I’ve encountered people who tried to dim that light—whether through criticism, resistance, or even outright sabotage. Those experiences hurt, but they also became fuel for growth. I realized my light doesn’t come from external approval; it comes from within. And the more I know myself, the brighter it shines.

Today, that’s the very work I bring to my clients and organizations: helping them reclaim their light, step into their full authenticity, and lead in a way that not only uplifts them but also elevates everyone around them. When leaders stop shrinking, their businesses expand—profits, impact, and fulfillment all flow from that alignment.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
One of the deepest wounds of my life has been abandonment. Growing up as a latchkey kid with very little parental supervision or involvement, I learned to be independent far earlier than most. By 18, I was already on my own. My parents had both remarried and were focused on their own lives, so I often found myself longing for their love and approval.

That longing shaped me: I equated worthiness with achievement. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that if I just worked harder, achieved more, or became more “successful,” I would finally be worthy of love. It drove me to push relentlessly—but at a cost.

Healing came when I recognized that old pattern for what it was: a subconscious story, not the truth. Through deep energy work, self-awareness, and years of practice, I reclaimed my worth as something innate—not something to be earned.

That shift didn’t just change my life; it transformed the way I lead and coach. Today, I help leaders and organizations break free from their own unconscious patterns—whether it’s overworking, people-pleasing, or tying their value to productivity—so they can align with their true power and lead from wholeness. When you heal the wound, you don’t just feel better—you unlock an entirely new level of clarity, purpose, and profitability.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
What matters most to me is happiness, my family, and time in nature. I’ve learned that when I lose sight of those simple things, success feels empty—and when I honor them, I thrive in life, leadership, and business.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When have you had to bet the company?
Honestly, I bet on myself and my company every single day. Entrepreneurship is a constant act of faith—you invest time, energy, and often tens of thousands of dollars without any guarantees. Some strategies have brought incredible success, while others that worked eight times before suddenly don’t on the ninth. That’s just the nature of business.

What’s carried me through is my unshakable belief in myself and my mission. I know that even if a strategy fails, I won’t. I’ll always create something powerful and meaningful. And that’s the mindset I help my clients and organizations cultivate: the courage to bet on themselves, to stay aligned with their purpose, and to trust that alignment leads to impact and profitability.
