An Inspired Chat with Dr. Victoria Munoz of Mesa

We recently had the chance to connect with Dr. Victoria Munoz and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Victoria, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
When it comes to health, there are some very important things to understand. First of all, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing the body. Each individual is as unique as their own thumbprint. Therefore, treatment of disease is not a protocol, but a design. The design must fit the patients uniques profile of genetics, lifestyle, experiences, and mindset. In addition, doctors that work under the insurance model of medicine are bound by strict guidelines. These guidelines are dictated by insurance companies and typically lead to a prescription at the end of a 7 minute visit. On the flip-side, Alternative Medicine is the REAL medicine and gets results! When we are looking to reverse the effects of aging and disease, we must first take the time to listen to the patient, do a thorough exam, and then determine a treatment approach from here. Once we give the body what it needs and remove the barriers to healing, the body recovers quite quickly. This is a foreign concept to most, but many people are catching on. This is what you get with a doctor that is not bound by the narrative.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Dr. Victoria Munoz, Naturopathic and Regenerative Medicine specialist. I work at Precision Health & Performance where our focus is metabolic health and regenerating the body through a variety of modalities such as comprehensive labs, imaging studies, stem cell technology, movement, dietary counseling, supplementation, and hormone modulation just to name a few. We always start with foundational healing with every patient. Our approach to the human condition is root cause and reversal of aging and disease,
In addition to being a medical doctor, I am a PhD student working toward a degree in Theoretical Physics. The next step in medicine for me is Quantum Biology. By understanding the fundamentals of Quantum Physics, I will continue to bring the best medicine in the world to my patients. This is state-of-the-art result driven medicine! I also provide online content through courses from my website and a YouTube channel on Medical Science.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My father is a PhD in Biochemistry. Being that he was young when I was born, I grew up a part of his educational journey. He attained his PhD when I turned 16. Late nights in chemistry labs at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, outdoor adventures, and in depth exploration of natural science and cosmology was my world growing up. However, somehow I knew I would become a doctor at the age of 2.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I believe that success comes from our experiences, not an instruction manual. It has been my experience that reaching any goals in life is not a straight line, nor should it be. In my pursuit for success as a physician, I have taken different approaches toward reaching my goals. Some worked, and others taught me lessons. Now a decade later I feel solid in my approach, but I learn something new every day.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’ve know from a very young age that my purpose in life is to help build awareness in and empower people. This is exactly what I do as a physician. Education is a big part of what I do. By educating patient and including them in their healing journey, we get the best treatment outcomes. Some days are harder than others, but no matter what I am dedicated to this journey.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I’m not satisfied unless I’m putting in my absolute best effort. Striving to be the best in the world at what I do is what keeps me up at night. I am alway planning, learning, and dreaming, ensuring consecutive that each day is better than the last. Reward doesn’t come from outward praise and acknowledgment necessarily, but form knowing we invested our all into the purpose that drives us most. My purpose drives me and I do believe that the energy I put out is matched by the Universe. I am the creator of my life and if there is something that needs to change, I have the power to change it.
