Brayden Ayers of Houston TX on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Brayden Ayers. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Brayden, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: When was the last time you felt true joy?
On the stage when I played Donkey for Shrek the Musical truly made me the happiest I’ve ever been and Acting itself makes me happy in general

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi my name is Brayden Ayers! I am a actor, newly found director, script writer I started off my acting career in high school and I got a bunch of training through my four years there and as I got older and I graduated I went to lone Star Montgomery College which I got more technique to hone my acting skills I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Meisner institutions first ever online class that was filmed for students all around the world, but I also have a new web series out now called Forever Wo(a)ndering it is a Twilight zone / black mirrors inspired web series that is heavily narrated and each episode is different from the last but they all have some weird connection to each other. The first episode comes out in November 2025 so be on the lookout for that!

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe that I was invincible but what kid doesn’t right? As I got older I realized how fragile and how much time people have on Earth and it’s really made me appreciate the time that I have here. It’s one of those things that is hard to think about that no one wants to think about, but it is in the back of everyone’s mind I know for one thing that before I pass on to the next life I will leave a mark that is unforgettable

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
That the world is harsh. It’s just how it is not everyone acts the same, not everyone looks the same, not everyone is treated the same and despite us all being human we don’t all get along and being in a situation where life is full of decisions and it’s not always decisions that you want to make the reality of life is that it sucks and everybody knows that but despite everything I push through because there is always going to be light at the end of the tunnel.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Acting and becoming something bigger that I know I can become will never leave my mind until it happens and creating this web series is another way of putting myself out there. There is no point in a life if you don’t have something to strive for I feel like that is my thing that I want the thing that I need and the thing that I know I can get.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I know for a fact that I’m doing what I was born to do I was always a very creative and artistic kid growing up and I loved acting as soon as I got my hands on it. it was one of those things where you become obsessed with it not to a degree where I lose my whole life doing this one thing but obsessed to a point to where I want to make it a job that I enjoy doing despite how hard the acting industry is pushing through is all the more rewarding when you make it to the other side
